Unbeknownst to Lumia, Lars is severely outmatching her in terms of egg puns but his efforts only serves to egg her on in her madness. And there might have been truth in the man's theories, seeing how there had been an eggclusive sale over the weekend that had no doubt piqued the interest of many trainers - Lumia had taken a peek at the site for herself and almost would have gotten one had it not been the fact that she was extremely bad at settling newly hatched pokemon.

Someday! Just not today!

Rushing up to Lars, Lumia almost trips over herself in her excitement, stopped only by the gentle tendrils of her Sylveon as the pokemon treads after her. Then with a bright smile, Astra reaches for one of the incubators and takes it with her feelers, carefully hoisting the thing towards the vehicle. Lumia, on the other hand, doesn't quite dare to take the incubator by herself for fear of causing Lars to lose his balance. Instead, she listens close to tone of his voice, curiosity brimming in her eyes at the sheer mystery.

"What do you have in mind?"

She's careful, she swears! Just not all the time but that's the same as saying how people make the occasional mistake, right? Hovering around her cousin with an unexplainable nervousness, Lumia's watching as he places the Incubators onto the seat, Astra following suit as she makes one final check to see things are secure.

"I- Isn't that the plan already?" Getting there as fast as possible and taking their leave right after seems to be the same outline as the idea she has, but she supposes that Lars has something additional to add if he's bringing it up. And the answers are made clear quite soon after, the gesturing of the sidecar earning the man a moment of silence as she briefly considers the suggestion.

"Riding shotgun sounds fun. Though Astra, you're gonna have to sit this one out, okay?"

The Sylveon seems a little wary of the idea herself, her mouth wordlessly opening and closing as if trying to come up with some sort of protest. She senses danger in this little plan but she can't quite figure out what it is. So she relents after receiving puppy-dog eyes from her trainer, letting out a soft sigh as she holds Lumia's hand firmly and barks.

Stay safe - The message Astra tries to convey can't be any clearer, the way she watches as Lumia climb into the side car telling of her frazzled nerves as she incessantly fusses over the girl. Once satisfied with the safety of her trainer, the Sylveon finally takes her leave with a light hum, returning to her pokeball and falling silent with a final quake.

"Okay... whenever you're ready, Lars!"

Ah yes, the most important part of the trip that she'd almost forgotten - The almighty helmet.

Carefully receiving it from Lars' hands, Lumia puts it on with utmost diligence, sweeping her hair out of her eyes as she watches Lars place an Incubator into the back box. "Okei!" And his instructions are taken to heart, a hand carefully placed onto each incubator as she briefly considers how bumpy the road ahead may be.

What she doesn't expect, however, is the sudden revving of the engine, the bike quickly accelerating from 0 to top speeds as she lets out a sharp squeak.

"Voi herranjumala..." It's a phrase that she hangs onto for dear life, panic coursing through her veins as she wonders if this is a good time to ask Lars about his driving license. Perhaps, blindly following the suggestions of an older cousin isn't always the way to go...

So he isn't technically wrong when he says those words but Arceus, does she wish that Lars had warned her about this. In a sense, he had with the ominous phrasing of his plan… but her brain isn't quite warmed up enough to read between the lines just yet.

The unceremonious brake does nothing to soothe her nerves, a string of curses slipping from her tongue as she hangs onto the incubators with extreme caution. Anxiety taps at the edges of her mind, angry in its chitters as she forces herself to calm down and breathe. If she hadn't known the brash and somewhat reckless child that was Lars, she would have assumed that this was some sort of attempted murder.

Or you know, just plain horrible driving.

Either way, she's halfway to tears, sucking in whatever breaths of air she can get as she gingerly clenches and releases her fists. "Warn me next time…" Her voice comes out weak, shaken by the sheer amount of adrenaline that rushes through her veins. But her attention is by no means impaired, her eyes flickering over the long conga line of Woopers as they waddle their way across the road. Judging by their numbers and speed of their leader, it may take anywhere from several minutes to a few hours before the path is clear.

Reaching into her pocket, Lumia pulls out a pokeball to call upon the most antsy of her team. The Noibat emerges with a blessed shriek - much like a child waking up in the early hours of morning only to be hit with the realisation that there's school - and takes in the situation without missing a beat. Then, Rita begins to flap her wings, hovering around the edges of the Woopers as she squeaks incessantly. And perhaps, the little blue troopers are guided by her Tailwind, picking up their leisurely pace and bouncing along much more excitedly, their gurgles and chirps soon turning into a choir as they skitter across the path.

At some point, she swears she's watching them do some sort of ritualistic dance, what with the rhythmic tapping of their little feet and the incessant bobbing of their heads. But she figures that's a behaviour best left to be noted down for now and mulled over at a later date.
