“Blossom, wait!” Quinn huffed as he chased after the Cherrim, watching as the Pokemon cheerfully bounced away. Clouds were seldom found in the skies over Littleroot Town today, bringing out the Sunshine Form of Cherrim, and the mischievous personality that came with the transformation. “Watch out!” Blossom was so focused on playfully running away from her trainer that she didn’t even notice the fence in front of her.

BAM! The Cherrim bounced off the wooden fence and fell backwards, dazed as she stared up at the open sky. “You dummy.” Quinn knelt down and scooped up his Pokémon, smiling softly while tickling her midsection with a finger. “Keep it up and I’ll have Doppler make it start raining.” Blossom pouted, not wanting the sun to go away.

Soleil had been doing just a bit of last minute shopping before she'd start her adventure—and meet with her brother—walking down the lane while feeling the sunlight against her skin, accompanied by her Comfey she'd had a paper bag in one hand filled with poké balls for her adventure. It wasn't that long into her walk that she'd seen a pink and yellow pokémon bouncing along with what seemed to be its trainer running after it, she couldn't help but smile at how energetic it was as she continued to watch while she walked. Though Soleil had shuffled around for her phone with one hand, most certainly taking this as a good chance to take a picture. She'd taken a quick shot steadily of the trainer and his bouncy pokémon—though mostly just his legs chasing after the Cherrim—just in time too as it hadn't been that long after that he'd called out, followed by a short thud as the Cherrim had faceplanted into a fence—an event that Soleil hadn't realised she'd also managed to get a picture of by accident.[break][break]

She'd hastened her pace and walked over to the trainer and the chastised Cherrim, concerned about the pokémon, "Is that pokémon okay?" She'd called out when she'd drawn close enough, though managing to overhear the conversation, "I'd personally like the sun too, actually," she'd mused with a smile after seeing that the Cherrim seemed to be fine. Nonetheless she'd nodded to Natillas anyway, the Comfey accompanying her releasing a pulse of energy with a flowery fragrance that wafted over the Cherrim and its trainer, having used Floral Healing to treat the flowering pokémon, even if it wasn't entirely necessary with such a small bump. Soleil had smiled, "Oh, I'm Soleil by the way."

“Blossom will be fine, she has a hard head.” Quinn teased the Cherrim, watching as the Pokemon puffed her cheeks out in impish defiance. “No need to worry, I don’t plan on changing the weather.” At least not yet, not until Project Delta was completed. Comfey sprung into action with Floral Healing despite the superficial nature of the wound, though he wasn’t about to deny the Posy Picker Pokémon the satisfaction.

“I’m Quinn.” A hand was offered towards Soleil that wasn’t currently restraining the wriggling Cherrim from running off again, a friendly smile adorning his lips. “I’m assuming you live here? Me and Blossom are visiting from Fortree City, ourselves.”

The pastel-haired girl had smiled as she took the handshake, a visitor? All the way from Fortree? "Mhm! Though I'm going on a-- wait, from Fortree? That's so far away! What's it like? What's the journey like? Are the pokémon different there? I--" it was rather easy to tell that Soleil had gotten hooked by the fact that Quinn was from so far away, though she'd managed to stop herself, clearing her throat in hopes to hide her own embarrassment, "Sorry about that, I was rambling there, huh?" Whilst each of her questions were genuine curiosity, she'd feel kinda bad if he had to stick around and answer them all, nonetheless she'd smiled when Natillas had brushed up against her and nuzzled her cheek.[break][break]

"I'm going on an adventure, you see! I wanna see lots of different places and pokémon, like cute little Blossom over there." She'd explained a bit more calmly, "Take some pictures, see the world, have some memories~" she'd tacked on with a sing song voice, "What're you here in Littleroot for anyway? The journey must have been long!"

She was enthusiastic about the world around her, as though she’d never been beyond the limits of this humble town. Quinn would have been saddened by that fact, but there was prospect on the horizon of her being able to see all that she missed on this ‘adventure’. The kindness in his heart hoped the best for her but also worried about those that may take advantage of her naivety as they do sometimes to him. “Oh, there wasn’t much travel involved, to be honest.”

As though on cue, a Gardevoir drifted her way from behind a nearby building, an indifferent look on her face as she finally caught up with her trainer and the Cherrim. “Lucy teleported us here, actually. She’s my laboratory assistant, we work for the Weather Institute on Route 119.” A hand reached down and extended the badge that was clipped on his belt-loop, his picture displayed on the front with the name ‘Doctor Riley’ printed underneath. “We’re not here on official business though, I came to show Blossom some of the local flowers that grow around here.”

Soleil had been awestruck, he'd teleported here? Sure she knew about psychic pokémon, but the prospect of teleporting sounded so weird, scary in fact! Yet Quinn here was doing it like it was nothing, "that's so cool..." she'd muttered to herself, trying her best to contain her excitement, and that's not even considering the fact that he was some big shot doctor at the Weather Institute? Flowers though, huh? That was adorable but Soleil couldn't help but wonder if the Cherrim just wanted to play more considering the chase that had ensued earlier.[break][break]

Though nonetheless, she'd smiled, "The flowers around here are really pretty and they smell nice, though I've never really stopped and thought about how different they are from anywhere else... if you want, Natillas collects a lot of the flowers I like, you could take a couple back with you!" Soleil had offered ecstatically, the Comfey in question drawing closer to Quinn and his pokémon and offering what seemed to be some sort of jasmine flower, though, neither Soleil nor the Comfey were really sure if the flowers they collected were local, admittedly.
