they sure were coming out of the woodwork lately weren't they? kazimir gave his opponent a smile and a wave as he busy stretching his whole body to loosen up. o sense in letting battling get so intense it hurts.

"y'know i've actually beaten two of ya siblings already. think you can go toe to toe with a guy like that?" his simle turned into a cocky grin as he rested his hands against his pokeballs, ready to throw out whatever he needed to met with this guys own team.

he hides his distaste behind the smile he flashes the crowd. he revels in it, absorbs their energy, and channels it for the battle that's about to start.

"well, they do say third time's the charm. i guess it'll be me who stops you."

mirroring the grin, he calls out his magmortar, whose presence immediately calls a SUNNY DAY. clouds part, allowing bright rays of sun to shine down on them. temperature rises, too, but it's unclear what from exactly.

with a grin kazimir brought out his choice for the battle, a sandcastle. "hey i meant no disrespect. they really gave me a run for my money, so let's have some fun today!" with that the palossand began to shore up the dirt around it and add it to its own body giving it a much more thicker visage as it stared down the magmortar and took in the sunlight that shone down on them and everyone around them. all the while kaz kept a confident grin on his face as he kept his focus on the trainer, he couldn't underestimate not even a single one from this family.

the pallossand met the magmortar's gaze with its own, something that rubbed off on it while in kazimir's hands as it was a sign that it was ready for whatever their opponent threw at them. a confuse ray was something that it hadn't even considered. there was a flash and the world seemed to fade in and out of clarity as the pallossand's stance started to waver. "c'mon camelot! don't let it intimidate ya!"

with that the pallossand tried to focus its eyes on the magmortar and use hypnosis on it!

...only to trip over itself and hurt itself in confusion!

as the sand castle managed to stand up on its own two feet (base?) it was greeted with the sight of the magmortar aiming its flamethrower at the little castle. "snuff out the flames camelot, show them ya ain't going down." as the palossand eyed the arm cannon it twitched its arms a little bit and suddenly bits of earth propped up around the two pokemon as its earth power managed to take a second to work how it wanted too thanks to the confusion it was still suffering, but in the end it managed to make a shield that blocked the flames from hitting it and earned a cheer from kazimir.

but it's not FLAMETHROWER this time. magmortar's other hand raises, sending out LAVA PLUMES that rain down across the battlefield.

"snuff out the flames camelot! let's go with OPERATION DESERT BLIND!" kazimir called out before letting out a yelp as a small plume of flames landed right next to him as the magmortar unleashed its attack. as the flames covered the field it was tough to really avoid them but the palossand did its best to not look worried as it started to twirl its little arms around in circles. as it did the sand around it started to roll around its body before kicking up into a sort of small twister of dirt and dust that was suddenly flung at the fire type pokemon to trap it inside of this small sandstorm that camelot had created. hopefully that ought to hold it down for a good second.

operation desert blind begins to blind.

magmortar raises one of its arms to shield its eyes against the buffet of sand that damages it. it grunts but holds its ground, deciding it best to kick up sand beneath before firing it over palossand's way with a CLEAR SMOG attack.

it's not much but it might be enough to clear the SANDSTORM just slightly.

as the clear smog penetrated the sandstorm to hit the pallossand the castle would not falter like the sandstorm as it started to blow back against the magmortar even more.

"and now lets go with SANDMAN STRATEGY!" kazimir called out. his palossand let out a ghostly wail that would hypnotize any who would be able to hear it. one would think that the sound of a raging sandstorm would drown it out but instead the wailing seemed to mix with the sounds of howling wing. almost as if the noise was coming form the storm itself instead of the pokemon!

the sands parted ever so slightly to reveal a magmortar that had fallen asleep on its feet and was left wide open for a counter attack. "haha alright camelot let's get in there with a GROUND POUND!" with that the palossand began to wave its arms around as spires of earth power began to sprout around the magmortar and attempt to try and bounce the body around between them like it was trapped in a pinball machine.
