"...oh, yeah, you can pick the format," he tells the person he's matching up against.

at this point, kyle was just taking any challenges, as well as giving them out, for the sake of the spirit of the festival. he tells himself it's to keep the tradition going, but everyone knows he just does it for fun.

they move to a less crowded area of the beach, away from the majority of the battles. he'd rather have them in a place where collateral damage is at the minimum after all, as opposed to fighting by the city's streets and the like.

he takes a quick look at the person he's fighting. he tries to read him, and then he realizes that he's not that good at reading people anyways.
