Sam gave a sigh. This was not the pokémon that he was looking for, not at all, but it had looked so similar and without much thought he'd thrown a pokéball...and caught a cinncino, not an eevee.

Sam's frown mega evolved fast into a deep scowl.

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

Because he's a smart bean, he decided he put the little cutie up for trade in hopes of getting himself some sort of dual type.

Sam then scowled. The nerve of this pokémon! It wouldn't get in the pokéball! Originally he didn't have any real desire to capture the pure normal type. But because of the stubborn way she broke free and then taunted him with a little batting of her eyelashes at him, Sam felt challenged.

Throwing out his gastly, he immediately gave him the command to use a DARK PULSE, which caused the cincinno to retaliate with a SING. Sam flinched, because the gastly was immediately falling asleep. He pulled his hands up to his ears, covering them and watching as the cincinno just started to pelt his gastly with ROCK BLAST. That squishy gastly wasn't going to last terribly long, and Sam scowled.

"This was not supposed to be this difficult." Sam mumbled while recalling his gastly. He then threw out his larvitar, who looked at the cincinno and immediately found herself infuriated. This normal type using a rock type move?? And at her trainer no less?? Well, at her fellow party member anyway.

Clearly enraged and provoked by sheer audacity, the larvitar gave a mighty little roar and summoned a SANDSTORM. Sam pulled goggles out of his pocket to combat the storm while the cincinno seemed to be looking worried, and like it was thinking twice about busting out of that pokéball earlier.

"Finish this already!"

Larvitar took her trainer's words and manifested them into a powerful ROCK SLIDE, forcing rocks to pet the cincinno, who had tried to SING through the sandstorm and had clearly missed her target.

Seeing that it was hopefully weakened well enough, Sam threw another pokéball at the stubborn chinchilla and hoped.
