I didn’t even know he was my brother until a few weeks ago.” There was a bond prior, though the entire balance of their relationship had shifted and been broken since the news.

“You probably should, though.” Rowan shrugged slightly, looking back at Theo now. “Or not, what do I care?” He cared, but he wouldn’t let Theo have the satisfaction.

"You really do think you know everything, don't you?" Rowan scoffed, avoiding the accusation entirely. He shouldn't care about Gavin's personal life and romantic woes but there was a side of him that felt the sibling duty to look after their feelings.

"It's really quite insufferable." He watched them fire the shot and land another precise wound with ease upon the paper. "Besides, you two just fucked, it's not like you and Gavin are in love."

“You aren’t.” A small shrug of indifference was given, stepping away from the firing line and from Theo. “Or rather, I don’t believe you actually can love someone.” Perhaps the comment was harsh, but he didn’t exactly have the highest opinion of Theo, especially not now.

“Just a feeling that I have.” There was a darkness behind their stare that told Rowan enough that he needed to know, betraying the contents of their heart.

“Arceus, no.” An attraction towards Theo would have most certainly led to him placing the handgun in his own mouth and pulling the trigger. “You don’t know them, or at least I’d hope not.”

Chances were the two weren’t aware of each other, and the last thing he wanted was for Theo to possibly hurt his boyfriend. “His name is Adrian.” No surname was given, on purpose.

“I’d rather you didn’t.” There was an obvious venom in Rowan’s tone, discontent with their insistence of discovering more about his lover. “He’s not a member of Rocket, anyways.”

He’d hoped this was enough to throw the admin off course, seeing as he didn’t have the resources to check every single person in Hoenn with the name Adrian.

“I agree, it would only complicate things.” Having a loved one be a member of Rocket wasn’t ideal, Gavin and Lulu were enough. “Why do you want to know about him, anyways?”
