The chinchou was remarkably brave for it's trainer. Melody felt kind of proud just by proxy, so she had to respect chinchou's fervent wish to battle fiercely and meet it head on. "Papa!" she shouts as Chinchou slams into the oricorio and lets out one final blast of spark[break][break]

The air slash collided with chinchou's electricity causing a burst of smoke to cover the arena in a thick haze, Melody waited with a bated breath as she wanted to know who won. Thankfully, Papa was still standing only thanks to the roost from earlier and chinchou was passed out on the battle field. The referee declares the battle to be a win for Melody. "Hey! You did amazing out there, you should be very proud of your pokemon." she said thinking about how Eris battled..Maybe she deserved melody's badge? Her care for her pokemon was evident during their battle...
