Despite being the youngest in the family, Claude wasn’t the favourite child. Ever since he was a kid, he had tried to get his parent’s attentions by accomplishing many feats. When he was but a toddler, he read countless books, ’Mom, Dad, look! I just finished this book!’ he’d say to his parents while holding a rather thick book. He also pursued to draw and colour to impress his parents. When he got into school, he worked hard to ace in all the subjects and he did. He even joined a few sport competitions and won some gold medals. All those effort was to no avail. All he wanted was for his parents to know that he existed. [break][break]

Everything crashed and burned when his mother did not return from a ‘vacation’. He thought that she left him for good. That she did not want him anymore. He felt like crying, but he couldn’t. Two years later he heard his eldest brother, Lars arguing with their father. He heard everything. Later on, he found out that Lars ran away. So he was left with his sister Leanne and his father who was never there. He spent most of his time with Leanne as a child. She was his best friend. When his father left for Sinnoh, Leanne was all he had. [break][break]

Growing up, Sootopolis bore him. So he invited his sister to travel with him to Unova. But weirdly enough to him, she refused. Claude didn’t want to leave his sister alone so he canceled that plan. But Leanne insisted him to go after his dreams and to not worry about her. Claude was reluctant at first, but if pursuing a career is his sister’s wish for him then he shall do it. He left for Unova when he was only eighteen years old. [break][break]

In Unova, Claude ended up becoming a model for clothes and fashion magazines. He was quite a hit there for a few years. He bathed in his newfound wealth and glory. Yet he was not able to make a single friend due to his private and mysterious nature. Throughout the years, he exchanged emails with his dear sister Leanne consistently. But one day they stopped coming. [break][break]
