Grew up with her twin. Both parents worked, father was scientist, mother was dancer and musician. [break][break] - Grew up wanting to be just like her mother, following in her footsteps immediately. Loved dancing and singing as a kid. [break][break] - Graduated High school but didn't want to go to college immediately unlike her brother. Instead she got a job and spent her time hanging out with friends. [break][break] - Her parents didn't mind as long as she was happy. Eventually she and a group of her friends decided they needed a change of scenery. So they decided to go backpacking. [break][break] - On her travels Lani met a boy in Hoenn and they hit it off pretty well. Instead of continuing her journey with her friends she stayed in Hoenn for a little while. [break][break] - The time she spent with him was bliss until she got an emergency call from her family saying her mother was really sick [break][break] - Nalani had to immediately return home and help take care of her mother with the rest of her family. While she did so her relationship was put on the rocks. [break][break] - While she was distracted a friend had to tell her that her boyfriend was cheating. Nalani had to deal with that while her mother's condition was only getting worse. [break][break] - She broke up and cut off all contact with her ex and attempted to focus on helping her mom. Unfortunately she ended up losing her mother to cancer when she was 23 [break][break] - Her family took her mother's death extremely hard and she believed it was best that she stay home to help out her father and brother with anything they needed. [break][break] - A year later and the family is doing better. She enjoyed her time in Hoenn and decided to go back, making her family promise to keep in contact with her and let her know if anything comes up immediately.
