Amor's next opponent almost made him smile, as he recognized her from the museum, and their shared adventure in some ruins before this whole tournament started. Of course he was excited to battle her, especially when he saw that she had a Dragapult next to her, and of course he couldn't resist, but answer with his own. It would be a mirror match essentially, and it would be a good test for Zahak to see where he measured up, and if he lost then he would have to train harder in order to catch up to his other comrades.

"It is nice to see you again Siobhan, do take it easy on me." He smiled at her in his normal charming way, and then tossed his Pokeball into the air, and in a brilliant flash his own Dragapult floated next to him. "I think this will be a good match for the both of us." Already this match was going to be interesting with two Pokemon of the same kind taking each other on, which one would come out on top, only time would tell.

Battle Breakdown: Amor summoned Zahak the Dragapult. Moves are Dragon Darts, Phantom Force, Hydro Pump, Curse, Sucker Punch, and Lock On.

"Amor" she greets him, perhaps a bit more neutrally than he her. he was still a League member, and a known one as well. despite their adventure and socializing, he didn't know she was Rocket. best to keep him at arm's length. her Dragapult coos to the other upon reveal, narrowing his eyes and sizing the foe up. "let's go then."

she had the first move. "Dragon Dance" she tells Lich, who drifted forward into the ring. he gave a frenzied ritualistic dance that boosted his stats. Siobhan could have attacked, but why not draw it out a bit? she was eager to see what sort of bond Amor had with his dragons. "your move." she says idly.

She was as talkative as she ever was, but that was alright she was here to battle, not to socialize. Though it wouldn't kill her to smile every once in a while, she looked more statuesque with each meeting they had than before. Chuckling a little as her Dragapult sized up Zahak, though that was to be expected. They would want to know how they measured up to each other so why not. Zahak didn't even spare his opponent a glance, and when it used it's move, he just stared at the woman when she gave the signal for his trainer to give his command. This was a much slower paced battle, but he didn't mind.

"Zahak let's feel them out...Dragon Darts!" He commanded his dragon, and the two ethereal Dreepy that were located in his docks shot forth like rockets towards the enemy Dragapult. Whether it was going to hit or not he didn't know, but you could always hope. "I'm glad to see you're still doing well after our excursion. I'll have to keep a lookout for more places like that, and we'll have to go again." He stated simply as he watched the battle in front of him play out.

Battle Breakdown: Zahak used Dragon Darts!

the Dragon Darts are expected, the signature move of the line. "cut them down" Siobhan would order Lich. he narrows his eyes and lashes out at one of the darts, slicing it with his Steel Wing move. the other hits dead-center. he cries out in pain but his trainer gives an approving nod. "good job."

he seems to brighten with praise, smiling through pain. "Dragon Pulse" she says next, having used the previous attack defensively. it was time to retaliate. fight dragon against dragon. who would win? time would tell. Lich roars, the vibrations from his call assaulting the other Dragapult in waves.

"we will. all you need is call." she says to Amor, focusing on the battle.

Of course she would be able to counter it, it was such an easy move to maneuver around if you were careful enough, though the way in which she did it was curious. Steel Wing was not a move that he had thought to see on a Dragapult, but then she launched her counter attack against Zahak, however it wasn't going to be that easy for her. His eyes glowed a dull yellow color as he Locked-On to her Dragapult, and Amor acted quickly.

"Zahak, Phantom Force!" He ordered his Pokemon who fled into the shadowy realm in which it hid watching as the Dragon Pulse passed harmlessly over it, and then it quickly sprouted out of Lich's shadow, and surrounded by a ghastly aura attempted to smash into it. Zahak wasn't going to place nice just because they were the same species it was a contest to see who was the most formidable one here, and he was certain that it was himself who was. Now that they were in close quarters it was to see who was superior.

"Well I am glad to hear that, It's always nice to have someone that you can count on for things like that." He smiled at her in his normal charming way.

Zahak used Lock On, and Phantom Force. Lock On makes it so the next move automatically hits, however you can DM me if an issue arises!

the other Dragapult would vanish before Lich could hit him. the newly evolved dragon looked momentarily confused by it before being attacked from behind. again, he would cry out in pain. but this time it was a direct hit. he stumbled forward in the air a bit before turning, hissing.

but as pissed as he was, he wasn't going to retaliate until Siobhan gave him an order. "Hydro Pump" she says to him finally. Lich nods, focusing on the other dragon before where normally darts would expel, the concentrated water shot instead.

"you are not the only one who wants to learn Hoenn's secrets" she says to Amor with an amused smirk "you just happen to be chasing the same thing as I am." which was the origins of the region and the Legendries involved.

Their attack managed to land a hit, but they retaliated with a Hydro Pump, which seemed to only amuse further. This was almost like a true mirror match, but with slight differences. When she gave her command he gave his as well, he wasn't going to give her an inch of leeway. After all he was one who was trained to be a master of dragons, if he let someone defeat him so easily he didn't deserve that title.

"Zahak, Hydro Pump!" He commanded, and his own Dragapult released it's Hydro Pump from the bays on it's head to match his opponents, and cancel out the attack. Though of course how she handled this would truly determine her worth as a trainer. "That is fair, I should expect that there others who want to learn about the secrets of this place just as much as me." He chuckled a little, and instead of giving Zahak another order to attack he waited patiently for her next move. He was in no rush.

While it was true they were both after the secrets of this region his goals went a bit higher than that, all his life Amor had heard legends of the Three Creation Dragons, and those were the ones that he wanted to meet. Specifically he was out to find the Dragon of Time himself. That was his true goal, but no one knew that, because it wasn't something he advertised ever. He wasn't an idiot if people knew what he was looking for, there would undoubtedly be those who tried to compete with him for it. The strange Meteor Pokemon, Rayquaza these were just things that he viewed as stepping stones to his true goal. They would serve their purpose in teaching him more about the realms normally beyond his reach.

Battle Breakdown: Zahak used Hydro Pump to clash against Lich's Hydro Pump, and cancel it out.

"Phantom Force."

the water-on-water attack was at a standstill. both were equally matched and refusing to give up as they collided. Lich would slip under the other dragon's canon before vanishing from sight. he would circle the shadows of the ring before moving in on the Dragapult.

instead of going from behind - what a cheap trick! - the proud dragon snarled and leaped from the angular shadow the Dragapult was portraying. as the sun began to set, the shadows grew longer and at an angle parallel from where they originated.

The girl was crafty when she realized that the Hydro Pumps were equal in power she had her Dragapult vanish using Phantom Force, and then smash into Zahak. It was an effective tactic, but they were close once more, and Amor wasn't going to let such an opportunity pass him by.

"Dragon Darts!" He commanded Zahak who immediately fired off the twin Dreepy Missiles from the bays on it's head towards the enemy Dragapult. It would be hard pressed to dodge, but they didn't know what other attacks it had up it's sleeve, so it could very easily dodge for all they knew. Amor wasn't going to let his guard down though, and he whistled for Zahak to back off, creating a little distance between them after he fired off his missiles. So far this doppelganger of his hadn't impressed him very much, and Zahak still didn't respect the dragon, nor would he.

He didn't have what it took in order to claim real victory outside of these arenas, and so he snorted at him derisively.

if Dragon Dart was to hit point blank, then she would not let the other dragon escape harm so easily. Lich roared again, the waves closer than before. it would hit if Amor's Pokemon did not dodge.

the other Dragapult attempts to put distance between them in the process, so Siobhan can only watch and wait to see if her attack hit the other. she would not take failure so easily.

She used a move similar to the one that he had used, but he wasn't going to go down that easily, the moment she gave her order Amor would chime in with his own.

"Sucker Punch!" He commanded Zahak, and as her Dragapult unleashed it's Dragon Pulse attack, a shadowy fist would erupt from the ground underneath it, and attempt to uppercut it. Not cancelling the move, but just trying to hit it as it hit Zahak. Their Dragon Pulse would slam into him, and send him skidding backwards a little ways, but he just grimaced. He hoped that his attack had landed as that was going to eat away at their enemies even quicker, and would make this fight end sooner so that way he could go back to training against Tismet.

Lich was slowing down.

she could clearly see it in his face. his weariness and pain. but the Dragapult would shake it off, shooting Siobhan a pained smirk instead with a shake of his head. even as Sucker Punch hit and he growled in fury, he stood tall.

"are you sure?" she asked him quietly, wondering if he was going to go until exhaustion claimed him. he trills, nodding. she had no reason not to concede but the dragon was proud - like all dragons. "very well."

she would paused briefly before uttering a command. "U-Turn."

a high priority move. Lich shot forward, knowing he could not be recalled in a single battle. but the speed would make it difficult to dodge or retaliate. he aims for the other Dragapult before he'd zip back to Siobhan's front.

She was going for a high speed move attempting to end this before either of them were dragged further down. Zahak was beaten up as well after all he had been trading blows with this other Dragapult, pretty evenly. So when it was hurling towards him, he braced himself because all they had been doing this match was reacting. When the enemy Dragapult smashed into him, it stung a little, but such a move wasn't very effective against him. They would have to do better than that. Zahak simply glared at them, his bruises, and injuries were piling up, but so were his opponents.

"Zahak Phantom Force!" He gave the order clearly, and Zahak slipped into the space between shadows, and sped over towards their opponent he wasn't going to give them an inch. Zahak appeared right underneath the other Dragapult, and attempted to smash into it in an uppercut like move before returning over to where Amor was. Floating there, if that didn't knock them out, then this battle would be decided in the next few moves. Both of the dragons were on their last legs.

"Zahak, you've done well...Let's see how far we go." He smiled at his Pokemon easily.
