As they were leaving he pondered her question.

"Oh don't mistake me....I fully intend to still go, but would it really be fulfilling to you to have me do all the work, and then you come in to just throw a ball?" He asked her seriously stopping before they got to the door. "I don't think you would be standing idly by mind you....Maybe I'm weird....But wouldn't you rather grasp it with your own hands?" Perhaps he was thinking to hard about this, Amor was perhaps a little clueless.

"Just like in science it's always more invigorating when you make a breakthrough on your own, and while my lending you Erebus wouldn't necessarily be entirely on your own....At least you'd be in the pilot seat....You would be the driving force towards your victory...." Or maybe he was too prideful for his own good, and that is what caused him to think like this. "But if I am wrong in that regard then I apologize...." He smiled a bit pondering if he had gone to far? Oh to know a maiden's heart....

"It was why I suggested you spend a bit more time with us....So you could learn to use him properly, for the one who use to wield Darkrai I'm sure you're more than up to the task."

The Blast Burn came, and there was little chance for them to survive, but in that moment the Delphox had left itself open the moment it let out the roaring fire attack. What followed before the attack hit was a Soul Heart empowered Zap Cannon aimed at the fox in an attempt to finish it off as the inferno raged around the pair of them. However that would be the last move that Princess would get off before she succumbed to the flames, and Amor was forced to call her back, his Zeraora was still standing albeit only barely, but he wasn't in the mood to risk it.

Whether his enemy could still fight was irrelevant as he had decimated the boys team with just those two which meant he had plenty of power in reserve to finish dealing with any further stragglers. In fact Amor thought this would be the perfect way to test out some of his new dragons. Recalling his Zeraora, he would release a blue pokemon that stood on it's hind legs. A Walking Wake if the boy had seen one of them.

"You managed to knock out one of my Pokemon....For that you've earned this...." With no further ceremony a powerful Hydro Pump would release from the maw of his water dragon aimed at either the Delphox should it still be standing or whatever next pokemon that he brought out in an attempt to continue this fight. Though the fact that after all of that he still had four more pokemon of Amor's team to go through should instill some small amount of despair into the child. If it didn't then he would properly drive home just how outmatched he was if he didn't get it still.

There was no going easy on a battlefield like this after all.

"Strength is something that you have to obtain for yourself....If it's given to you, without you having earned it then it's worthless....Strength requires conviction to use for whatever purpose you wish to see come true....Because strength without ideals is no better than a tauros in a china shop....And ideals without strength will never come true...." He expressed to them when asked for elaboration. "At the end of the day....Whether you are Rocket, or League....You are alone, and can not blame others for failures....Because when you fail the first thought that will always come to bare is 'if only I was stronger'...." He looked at them as his own dragon went to battle the Flapple that appeared. With a few well placed Flamethrowers he threw out a pokeball to capture it.

"You will need it all....Strength of will, strength of body, and strength of spirit....Because when you are broken, and left bleeding with all of your loved ones around....All you can count on is yourself to struggle to the end....Do you understand?" Whether that answered their question or not he didn't know, but it was the best way he could think of to describe what strength meant to him.

Because he believed that what he said was the truth. You were always alone in the end, and if you weren't strong enough in those three things to stand up then you would die, or be forced to watch those you love die.

"Though if it wasn't helpful in the slightest....I apologize...." He expressed to them with an easy smile. To explain something as nebulous as strength was hard for him, but maybe that would help them out just a little bit. If it meant changing the face of a single grunt, then it was worth it.

"I don't recall a time in which a place being dangerous has kept you from going there." He turned to quirk a brow at her, and he laughed a bit. He was no different so he couldn't chastise her to much, but he wanted her to be safe no matter what....What they were exactly he didn't know, but she was like a little sister of sorts, and he hated to see her in danger.

"A Zekrom in a cave? And it liked cookies? Well I suppose that answers our question from when we were in the distortion world together....Perhaps gods do like sweets." He would keep that in mind should he ever run into the black dragon, but that made him wonder. Rocket had the Light Stone that supposedly housed Reshiram, what if he brought cookies to it to try, and coax it out?

declan walsh would probably murder him on the spot if he proposed such an idea, not to mention he already had Deoxys there was no need for him to try, and wake that dragon yet. Greed was a sin after all. "Well if you're ever free I'll show you the three dragons I captured from there. They look similar to dinosaurs you know. If you haven't seen any already that is." He offered to her as they went out a little farther, and then he stopped, and walked to the back of the boat where there was two fishing poles.

"Wanna go fishing?" He asked.

At the mention of how prison was treating him he frowned hard.

"I plan to make the whomever is in the Ugly Ward suffer....Considering they potentially tried to kill me, and those in my ward...." He spoke simply to her, the aura of seething rage barely contained beneath the veneer of politeness that he was holding up. "After all the work I went through to make sure we didn't forsake that other ward, so we could all escape alive....An unwelcome wrench was thrown into my plans....Other than that I'm roommates with the woman who tried to kill me before I defected to Rocket....So it's been peachy...." His words were dry, and sarcasm, but he just sighed.

He should really stop complaining to her, otherwise she might start charging him for therapy.

"What about you? Assuming you didn't try to condemn me....I hope you're mostly unscathed." It was a statement not a question. He looked her over despite knowing it was a dream of some sort, and hoped she had it better than the rest of them. Of course despite the venom in his voice, there was genuine concern in his voice for her well being. She was one of the few people that he was comfortable around, one of the few that hadn't vanished on him for no reason. Reliable people were hard to come by.

"Should we look around this place?" Her company was preferable to that of Melody Miro at the very least, and he could escape the hell of that place for a while.

"Both good reasons, but that is if everyone can cooperate to pull it off....My bet is we'll take Dewford first, and Mossdeep. We don't have necessary resources to launch a two pronged attack, and hold three areas at once." It was a matter of taking two places while still defending one. Plan for the worst case scenario that was his motto, but like Howard he himself was no grand strategist he could only assume the worst, and do his best to prevent that from happening. There were those within Rocket that he had some measure of fondness for.

"You don't?" He answered the question with another, and he laughed easily. "Ye of little faith Howard....Killian Decker, the original owner of Erebus died, and was brought back. Not to mention kyle lopez's ability to resurrect others, there would be a large gap in his abilities if that didn't also apply to himself. I have no proof of course, other than our own logs have mentioned his ability to bring others back...." But that was also part of his job, to look at the possibilities, and apply when it was necessary. "Phoenixes in all myths....Don't tend to stay gone for long...." Because if Kyle was truly gone, then that meant Amor had lost an avenue to fulfill his own ambition, and that would make him hate MATIAS SILPH all the more.

"Which is why like the hero he is....I have no doubt that he will show up on the battlefield to halt our advance....That is why it's our job to be prepared for that. Along with Makoto Kurumi, and Tempest Quinn....I do not intend to let false ideals overrun the truth." Because that is all the League was to him. A loose collection of false ideals, because if they were true heroes like the ones he would read about as a child.

They could make those ideals a reality....

Part of him wished that Walsh spoke up sooner, but he understood why he probably didn't, but now they had a solid foundation to go through. Trace Giritina through the distortions in Area Zero, and procure Regirock for Howard. He looked at the admin, a man he would consider a friend. Was Howard capable enough to take Regirock on his own? For so long Amor had held out lending him Deoxys to prevent harm from coming to both Howard, and Erebus. Perhaps it would be a good time to put the archeologist to task, and bring him up to the potential that Amor knew he had.

"When you're ready to set off I'd like to accompany you Underboss Beckett....I have someone within my Nebula operatives that is an ideal scout, and spy." He smiled firmly, wondering if Makoto Kurumi would have a heart attack at what he was about to ask of them. "They managed to keep four people concealed for extended periods of time within the Mechanical Kingdom....If they are by themselves or only one other person, I can almost guarantee that no harm will befall them." Even if they did get into a sticky situation, Amor held no doubts that they would be able to get through it all.

A clear direction, and if they succeeded then they would bolster their ranks further, and the climax of this farce of a war would draw nearer.

He would wait to hear back from THEO BECKETT, should he be included in that outing, with a nod to Lulu Flint, declan walsh, and THEO BECKETT he would make his way out. So many things to do, and not enough time, so they would just have to make the most of the time they had. A sigh on his lips as he began to plot, and plan for the future.

He woke up, or so he thought only to find that he was in a city of which the likes he'd never seen before. Amor was a well traveled man, having been to almost every region at least once in his life, but this was foreign to him. Looking around he saw what he thought were Megalopolans, but they weren't the crazed ones that he'd heard about from the stories, and reports. They seemed relatively normal at the moment. Looking down at himself he realized that he was back to wearing his usual tailored kalosian black suit. Was this a dream? If it was then maybe could conjure Draco, or Erebus, and he squinted his eyes focusing hard.

To his chagrin nothing happened, and with a frown he began to walk. It felt real. In the back of his mind he knew that this was some sort of illusion, some form of dream? He remembered falling asleep. So where was he?

Wandering around the grandiose city he couldn't help, but muse at the similarities of this place, and Lesser Megalopolis from his venture with DANE FAIRCHILD not to long ago. Looking around trying to absorb as much information as he could, he saw someone familiar. Dark skin, with pink colored hair swam into his vision, and he made his way to the familiar person, and he smiled at them. A bit of relief at the familiar face, and then a frown at the realization that her being here meant she was captured as well.

"I want to say I'm glad to see you....But that would mean I'm happy you got kidnapped....What a conundrum...." He said letting a small smile cross his lips regardless. "Though a familiar face not behind a mask is still a welcome sight....How are you Ameena?"

He thought back to their talk after their excursions....

He clenched his jaw a bit defiance woven into every fiber of his being.

"Stay...." Is all he spoke to her, and he motioned with a tilt of his head for her to follow him. His walls were up still, it was nothing against her, just the discussion of what was inside of him....Always put him in a mood like this. Still if she followed, he would lead her through a doorway into what looked like a kitchen of some sort. There was a large standing cabinet, and he opened it to her. "I was promised....After prodding, and questioning....A social setting with drinks...." He reminded her simply, and inside the standing pantry was every flavor of tea that Galar had to offer. One box of each, and they were neatly organized.

There were some exotic flavors that were incredibly difficult to get ahold of as well.

"And I have all this tea....I would like some company to ease my nerves...." A small hint of a smile curved at the edges of his lips. "Or would you really leave all of this untasted....That would be incredibly un-galarian of you...."

Her lack of a reaction to his teasing caused a pout to form on his lips, but he just chuckled a bit, and nodded.

"Fair enough....Well then I suppose I have some shopping to go do...." He said thoughtfully, and she had already given him a hint. She was from Galar, so he would just go by all of the Galarian Tea's that he could find. After all he had the money so it wasn't an issue. It might make the game a bit more boring, but Amor liked to win. It was in his nature, and so he would rise to the challenge she presented to him. Even for something as simple as just learning what kind of tea she liked.

"I assure you, despite what you may hear. I am professional most of the time...." It was the truth, he had no reason to act unprofessionally. So he rarely did save for when he was trying to deliberately get a rise out of others, but that wasn't something he did to often. It would lose it's luster otherwise. So he widened the gap between them easily, and made his way to the door, and opened it for her.

"Well in the hopes of keeping your image intact....Perhaps we should stop here for today....I look forward to our future endeavors together though...." With his usual easy smile he would see her out after they exchanged goodbyes, and go back to his desk, and sit down. There was a lot of work to do, and he had to assume they didn't have a lot of time to achieve it all.

What an interesting assessment she had of him. From how she made it sound, he appeared dangerous to those around him, but he wasn't aware of this reputation, nor did he really care if he was being honest. Because the truth was, he could be very dangerous should the need arise. It just wasn't a color he readily wore like the rest of his compatriots.

"So I'm guessing that the rabble around here among others view me as some sort of mad scientist?" He frowned letting his lips continue to stay in that hard line. His eyes narrowing a bit at her, but it wasn't worth pursuing. Let them think what they wanted of him. He garnered results, and that was all that mattered in the end. "I'll make you a deal....When you're worthy I'll let you peer into the rest of my mind at your leisure...." It was obvious this was a sensitive topic to him.

Any walls that might have been down between the two of them were erected right up putting distance between the two of them. A defense mechanism, the thought of a stray thought being seen by her. The thought of his nightmare somehow appearing once again, he didn't like it.

"You'll find that I am a man of my word...." There was a coolness to his voice, that bordered on icy. She was persistent in her desire to see into his mind, and he admired her tenacity. However Amor didn't know exactly how that machine worked, it was out of his expertise. But it would be obvious that he didn't relish the thought of giving anyone access to his thoughts outside of what was verbally spoken. "You have permission to view the nightmare data....And when I deem you worthy....We'll talk about the rest." The walls grew thicker.

"Ameena it is then...." He said with a smile, and a soft chuckle. Listening to her grievances about his lack of tea, he couldn't help but let the amusement dance across his face for a bit longer. "Well since you seem keen to spend more time in my offices with that bold offer of yours...." Another smile on his lips. "What is your favorite kind of tea, Ameena....?" He asked her with a quirk of his brow, her faux offense causing a gentle chuckle to echo out of his lips. "So I can help my personal space be more to your tastes." He was teasing a bit now, since she had made such a demand of him. Not that it bothered him in the slightest.

"As for me....Lemonade is my favorite drink, but if I'm limited to tea....I like a nice honey, and chamomille....I have a bit of a sweet tooth...." He explained to her, and it was the unvarnished truth. One did not get a physique like his by eating sweets all the time, which is what made him appreciate them that much more. Lemonade was his vice, it was the only thing that wouldn't get in the way of his training to terribly.

"Are you sure you should be stocking my favorite things in your office....?" Amor often teased Makoto Kurumi in a similar way, and so he took a single step forward, the height difference wasn't large, but he was still a few inches taller than her. A tilt of his head. "People might misunderstand...." He doubted his teasing would have as much of an effect on Ameena as it did Makoto, but he could just say he was testing her for one reason or another. Part of him though wanted to see how she reacted.

Her correction of him just made him smile, and chuckle.

"Is that right? I suppose I could do that if it endears me to you enough that you might come help." He tapped his cheek. "I wasn't doing it to be rude I assure you....Where I grew up, titles became very tiresome to try, and remember for everyone....Duke This, M'lord that...." He rubbed his temples a bit, and he smiled wryly as he complained a bit. "When I escaped....I just refused to do so ever again....It's why I don't require the formality when others are speaking with me....But...." His teal eyes met hers.

"I will make an exception for you Dr. Abadi...." He truly hadn't meant to be rude, or to bother her, and he was willing to admit being wrong....Despite how rare it was. There was gentle amusement in his eyes, but he would concede to her. Pushing himself to his feet he would stretch out a bit. "Is there anything else I've done to slight you Doctor....?" He let the word come out softly. Was he attempting to tease her? Seduce her? Only he knew, but regardless he still smiled. "I should like to right my wrongs you know...."
