He was running a tad late as the invitation had sort of thrown him into a mild frenzy. He had been meeting with her quite often, not that he was complaining in the slightest, he had enjoyed spending time with his violet haired companion. Though despite all the time they spent together, and how much they enjoyed each others company, he hadn't yet made a proper move on her. Part of him was afraid of what would happen, if things fell apart. There was also a part of him that still belonged to another, whether she was there or not, he knew he was broken. To burden another with that, he didn't want that.

Shaking his head he would land down in front of her atop his trusty Dragonite, Draco. The dragon accompanied him everywhere, and one look at the female, the dragon gave a somewhat approving look. It was his first time meeting this woman that had so entranced his trainer, but he could understand why his master enjoyed her company.

"I'm here!" The silvery man said in a huff striding up to her trying to catch his breath. "I didn't mean to be late, I was taking a nap after a workout, and overslept." He said to her with his normal charming smile. In fact he did look like he had just woken up. He was in a plain white t-shirt, and shorts. His hair was slightly messy, and he stretched out with a yawn. "I promise to make it up to you." He flashed her a flirtatious wink.

He was at ease around her, it was hard for him to not be, everything about her was intoxicating to him. From the moment they had kissed in the club, he had felt invigorated. So as they approached the simple game, his mind was just flashing backwards to that, and then to here at the present. What a lucky man he was, to be able to be near someone like her, someone who might be able to accept him, faults, and all. At her question he just held up his hands in surrender, and laughed easily.

"I am afraid I have two left hands when it comes to such games, why don't you go first, and show me how it's done. Then afterward I'll go." He smiled brightly at her, and for a moment a thought crossed his mind, and so he leaned forward, planting his lips lightly against her cheek. "For good luck." He explained to her with a wink, and then so as to not distract her he stepped away so he could see how the game was played. It seemed simple enough, but he wanted to know what he had to do to win her a prize.

The truth was, that thanks to his training with Walter this game would probably be easy for him, but he didn't want to let her know that. Explaining to her that he had been trained by an Ex-Assassin might wait until later....Much later, in fact he might not ever tell her, because he was afraid she might get mad, and perhaps leave him. They were sort of together right? This was a date after all, at least he thought it was....Or was he wrong? Should he have not kissed her? Despite the calm exterior he exuded a myriad of thoughts were just beneath the surface.

They had arrived back at this place, or well that is what he would want to think, they were back at the meeting place they had secured in their previous mission. It was far enough away the League wouldn't interfere with them, and in his hand was a source of power that encompassed everything that he could ever want. It was a Primal Shard that would take them a special place within the kingdom of machina, and it was there that he would attempt to uncover this places secrets. There wouldn't be any mishaps like there had been last time, they four of them were far more prepared this time. The music would be stopped before it could affect them, and with that neutralized the rest of it would be trivial.

They would have the communicators he had given them before still, and so he sat down on a rock waiting for them. Hopefully they would encounter far less resistance than they had before. Still that first mission felt so fresh in his mind, the memories etched into his memory, if he had any hope of getting the things he wanted, he couldn't afford mishaps like that. With a sigh he lamented over the overall success they had, but the absolute failure that he had been up until that Corviknight showed up. It was frustrating to him, he hated having his control taken from him, and while it was absolutely out of his control, he still hated himself for it.

Mulling it all over, he wondered about the source of the music, but he knew he wasn't just going to get the answer handed to him, and perhaps on one of their missions he would learn about the source of the strange music that could override human emotions. Maybe in time it would help him calm his own down, and keep him from getting out of hand.

Draco just laughed as the Salamence attempted to use another Rock Slide on him, however the attack would be found to be lacking a target as Draco used Extreme Speed to both dodge the attack, and attempt to land one of his own on the other dragon. Weaving quickly through the cavalcade of rocks that had rained down on him, he wasn't the least bit interested in letting this battle drag on for much longer. They had both taken a ton of damage from each other. Surely his opponents stamina was starting to drop as well? With a grimace on his maw he would continue to hammer away at the opposing dragon.

"Tch don't ask me to hit you, and then complain, wuss." Came Draco's retort to the Salamence as he beat his wings hard in the air to stay aloft. Keeping his eyes on his opponent so that he could react to his next attack just as quickly as before, if he was going to just use another Rock Slide then he would repeat the same attack as before, and beat him into submission. After all if he wasn't going to slug it out with him, then he would return that kindness.

Amor meanwhile had no idea what was happening, but just like the Gym Leader, if he could understand his dragon, he would have wanted to be erased from existence.

Amor just smiled when he mentioned that everyone had chinks in their armor, that would be where their philosophies diverged because Amor didn't believe that everyone had chinks in their armor. As he downed his drink, and listened as the man continued to explain the sports game to him, he mulled over his response. Amor knew for certain that there were people in this world that just had unfair strength, and had really no chinks in their armor. He had met them, and even fought a few of them. Everyone liked to believe that humanity was created equally but the truth of it was that they weren't. It was a fact that everyone would have to accept at one point or another, and whether they broke from the knowledge or not would determine their own strength.

"I don't think that is the case. Sometimes there is a person that is near perfection, where everything you do is completely meaningless in the face of them. When faced with someone like that, and believe me they do exist, you have to get a bit more creative than just trying to exploit perceived weaknesses." He chuckled easily, and soon he noticed the time, it was getting a bit late, and there was a club nearby that he wanted to go to before it got to late. Perhaps he would find some female companionship for the night. Standing up he called the waiter over, and paid for both his meal, and Josh's.

"Just don't get into to much trouble before we get to have a rematch." He nodded to the man, and then without another word he left the diner before Josh could continue to explain the game to him. It had been an interesting conversation to have with the newest Gym Leader at the very least.

How long had it been since that day? He was dressed in a fine suit, she was radiant, and together they made a powerful pair. It was a small ceremony, only their closest family members, and attendants were there. They could have a flashy one later, today was just for them. The Duke, and the Duchess, two powerful families becoming one, and the happiness that the two of them desired. At least that is what he thought. Then That Man appeared, the same one he saw in his nightmares, and everything was torn from him, she was dead. His hands, arms, and suit were stained red with her blood. Others in the background were being torn apart, and he was helpless despite all he had learned.

He only survived thanks to Walter, in fact the only reason more hadn't died was because of the ever dutiful butler. Amor could still hear the sounds of his own rage, the tears stinging his eyes as he held her close. Her pale hand on his cheek as she just smiled at him. Those beautiful blue eyes, and the last words she spoke to him. That he would be okay, and it wasn't his fault. They haunted him still....

He woke with a start, sweat dripped down his body as he realized he had been screaming. His throat was sore, and so he got out of bed, and grabbed a drink. Trying to catch his breath. It was the same nightmare every night. First it had been his parents, but She had helped him get over that. Now his nightmare was Her. The fact that he had been so weak as to lose her. Taking a large gulp of his water he just peered out the window, and into the sky listlessly.

Elisabeth Fiorelli had asked him why he had joined Rocket not that long ago. Of course the reason he had given her was for his own selfish gain. That wasn't entirely a lie....But it wasn't the whole truth. His entire life, his sole purpose had been childish. To childish to confide in anyone really. Amor wanted Dialga, he wanted to go back, and rewrite history so that those he loved wouldn't have to die. To create an entirely new reality where there was truly no suffering, where no one had to have any pain. To break away from this accursed cycle of fate, and circumstance that this Universe seemed to be doomed to.

Deep in his heart, Amor wanted to save everyone. His parents, his fiance, his friends, and those who had the same eyes he did. He wanted to create a world free of the pain that everyone harbored. That was his truest desire, but even now he doubted that it could be truly done.... Isaac Merlo had asked him about Vivi at their outing, and Amor had let his mask slip for a moment. It was irksome that he hadn't kept a grip on himself. But maybe it was all lost, there was the rift open, the place that was to the Afterlife. He could go there, and bring her back. He wouldn't even need Dialga's power for that, with his own two hands he could bend reality to his whims.

But then there was another issue....Elise Calcifet was someone that he was kind of seeing. She was in many respects very similar to Vivienne, maybe that is why he was so drawn to her....Was it fair to use her as a replacement knowing that he would never be able to fully give himself to her? Was he so broken on the inside as to do such a thing....She was such a sweet girl, and she deserved so much better than him. Would she even be able to accept him if she knew?

He put up a tough front, calm, collected, and cool, but it was a facade. Just broke pieces of a statue that were truly hollow inside. The moment he allowed himself to feel anything again, he knew the outcome, he knew that he would walk to the cliffside. If he lost anyone else, he would just break, it was why he had chosen to just remain alone, and untethered for so long. But what if....What if....What if....

[break]thread summary: Amor talking to the current Admin of Intelligence Gathering, and learning a little about her during their brief exchange. Showing up in his normal guise of the Cyber Ninja Suit, he had brought intel regarding a particular league threat, at least a threat he deems worth telling others about. Whether they know about it or not, the prowess with which Razz Kingsman wielded his abilities, and the abilities themselves are very troubling. So to make sure more Rockets don't get caught off guard in future attacks, he gave her all the info he had. Along with his motivations, why he joined, or at least a particular reason of why he joined, and then at the very end revealed him to Elisabeth Fiorelli at her promise of mutually assured destruction. Then having done what he set out to do, he left.

[break]why is it important?: I think it's important because Amor is still very new to Rocket, and having been a very self sustaining person for pretty much the entire time I've written him, it's interesting to have him try to balance respect for people he is just meeting, and maintaining his own pride, and dignity. However he still wants to carve out a road of his own within the organization, and help them not fail since their PR team sucks, or did suck. So him revealing himself to Elisabeth at her promise of mutually assured destruction, despite only the Underbosses of the time knowing, was him accepting said promise, and reciprocating it. As a businessman Amor will never break a deal. For him it's hard to deal with not being in control of everything anymore, but when the world is constantly on the brink of collapsing, you have to pick a side eventually, and so this was a gesture of goodwill from him to Rocket. Sharing his intel, and identity with a future Underboss.

This dragons shrine was said to have the power to teach a pokemon a move that they normally wouldn't be able to learn, and it was due to that, that he had come here with his Zeraora. The knowledge contained on this tablet could be useful to them, and so they sat there deciphering the texts, and after a while Amor had scanned as much as he was able without missing anything. This place he felt was part of his heritage as well, though he wasn't a Draconid, he was a relative of the Blackthorn City Dragon Tamers. So to be able to come, and visit a place like this, he felt it woudl do wonders for his growth as an individual.

There was a bell, and on a whim he decided to ring it, but his Zeraora was glowing with strange Purple Energy, it's right arm was surging with an awesome power, and it rushed forward, and struck the bell with all of it's might. Apparently Zeraora had been studying as well, and it seemed to have learned an interesting new technique.

Her compliment of course caused some heat to rise to his cheeks. After their previous meeting in the club, and how that had gone, he wanted to see her again, but just hadn't found an excuse to. This festival was a godsend to him, and at her question of what they should do first, he contemplated it for a moment. Amor admittedly wasn't big on coming to festivals like this, mainly because he was usually alone, and such activities required a date of some sort.

"Why don't we do both? We still have a very long night ahead of us right? Let's play Magikarp Scoop, and then we can go visit the shrine, and maybe watch the fireworks at the end?" Came the easy response, as he held out a hand for her to take. "I would like to spend as much time as possible having fun with you. It's a very rare thing for me, y'know. Between business, the world ending, and so many other things. I like the feeling of just spending time with someone." He said fighting the blush down in his cheeks as he said so. Being far more composed than he was at their previous meeting, he still felt some semblance of embarrassment, at doing this.
