It was midmorning and she had woken up in her hotel and rushed to the stadium. She wore her colorful hair in a sporty ponytail tied with a crescent moon charmed hair tie. According to her map, this was where she had her next tourney battle. A small battle stadium but with a nice view as it was set next to the beach. She made her way in and to her designated area by the help of some tournament staff. She was dazzled by the whole tournament thing. She couldn’t believe she had the chance to participate in something so big as soon as she arrived in Hoenn.

She stepped out onto turf and squinted in the bright lights of the stadium. Noise from onlookers surrounded her but she didn’t feel her heart jump just yet. She wasn’t crowd shy and she could take the looks of strangers most of the time. Though, a little anxiousness was felt by her as she awaiting the meeting of her opponent.

Matias. He looked tough and cool as a cucumber. Still, she shouldn’t be nervous. ”My name’s Vanny,” the girl called in introduction. She had seen a few tournament goers trying out double battle styles. Vanny was a novice even when it came to commanding her mons, so the chaotic nature of a double battle would prove to be a feat. Still, she had wanted to try it after watching how exciting the battles could be.

”How about a double battle? I really want to try one!” She offered in response to his question. Already she tried to think of which of her three mons would make the best pair.
