Before long the sun would be setting and creeping in.

"Before long" meaning in several hours it was past noon, but the summer days were the longest days.

With his arms crossed he welcomed a new opponent. If he paced himself, maybe he could get to twenty battles after all. If not, ten was good a benchmark for a temporary set up as any number.

Before match ten however, he was granted a moment of cathartic reprieve through wanton destruction.

He was even given an 'opponent' to partake in this challenge.

"How many battles have you had since this thing started?"

He liked the laid back vibe of his 'opponent' although there was something familiar about him.

That aside, he had the right idea about battling so Sénon was game, no pun intended.

A wrist flicker tossed and rolled his pokéball into the battle space, the dark-type's fire counterpart.

Looking at the two as fond as he of Flareon (this one was a gift from his wifey cait alfric), there was no denying the aesthetics. "Umbreon are so cool."

Climbing atop the scrapheap that was a different junk car the ranger had a better view of the target and was further from the 'splash zone'.

Flareon was a bit hesitant to just attack a big 'thing'. Her build more for burning than busting.

"This isn't exactly going to be easy for you." He winked at the flareon "-but lets put in the work anyway; FLARE BLITZ!"

With his signal the Flame Pokémon, wrapped itself in the namesake of its classification and rammed the fender denting in the trunk and causing glass to blast from the rear window.

[attr="class","bryanbody"] "Let's help them out umbreon, Helping hand!" he ordered as Umbreon stood on it's hindlegs and clapped it's paws together and sent energy towards Flareon to boost the flare blitz and help boost that literal fire power, Bryan hated the smell of this place and wanted to make sure they didn't have to stay here very long.

With Umbreon's HELPING HAND, Flareon's firepower went through the roof and with proper footing he trampled the trunk with vigor and broke into the car's interior before igniting a LAVA PLUME around his body to warp the junked car with thousands of degrees of blistering heat.

Sénon had to make a carefully placed jump onto a smaller car pile to keep a safe distance.

The car was all but destroyed but to put a pretty bow on its destruction Flareon used HELPING HAND to augment the attack power Umbreon would use to finish off their scrapyard target.

[attr="class","bryanbody"] Umbreon felt a surge of power course through it's body from flareon's own helping hand and decided to send this thing off with a bang! "Umbreon! Dark pulse! Finish it off!" he ordered as a surge of black energy lashed out towards the car in a series of whips slicing up the pieces not yet destroyed by the flareon's move and thus destroying another section of the car. [break][break]

However only time would tell if it would be enough to end it's reign of stinky terror in the dumps.

Finally hitting a stride with his dark-eeveelution cousin Umbreon, Flareon circles around to strike at the car one more time...

only for it finally erupt in a shockwave of heat, sonics and hard air pressure.

It was only in the rapture of the blown vehicle that the Ranger was once again reminded of just how purely destructive pokêmon were when attacking literally anything other than another pokémon.

"Holy Shit." With a wave to his destruction partners; Umberon and its trainer, "Thanks man!" he smiled in the pure catharsis of two dudes and their fighting foxes blowing up a car no one gave a damn about.
