water only enhances sound further, the amplified SCREECH ringing the grapploct's ears. tentacles writher in protest, and annoyance, before moving as one in a powerful push. his body visibly becomes stronger as he BULKS UP, then, as he approaches, his OCTAZOOKA murks the water in a cloud of black ink, hoping to hide the small fighter.

in an attempt to clear it, swampert summons a surge of MUDDY WATER that sweeps across, carrying water and mud and ink.

riding the wave, swampert closes in to throw a ROCK SMASH.

the octopus takes the ROCK SMASH head on, pushing through it and the pain, as he opens all of his tentacles at once like an alien mouth. each one would attempt to grab onto the other pokemon in a SUBMISSION, bringing it down to the seafloor.
