"man all this battling takes the life right outta yeah. maybe some sports outta light a fire about it. try something different so it don't get stale." the blonde mumbled to himself as he sat among a team of freshly swapped out pokemon watching a game of soccer on the beach among a group of people. while his pokemon had the luxury of taking a break from this tournament kazimir wasn't so lucky and it was starting to wear him down just a little bit. he had been thinking about maybe spicing up future battles so things don't get so stale but he was at a loss of what to do. "maybe it'll come to me after a nap. or a game of soccer. you think a pokemon soccer battle would be fun?"

name's kazimir. alright let's show these guys that we're the real stars in this match." with that kazimir brought in his machamp close to him as the ball was thrown into the field and the four armed giant was the first to reach it, using his posture to intimidate the opposing players as they approached. "hey pass it over to michail!" kaz shouted out as he ran a few steps behind the group. his machamp gave a thumbs up with one of his free hands and with a low sweep shot the ball towards jayden cross while calling out to him. however a hitmonlee had managed to stretch its legs just enough to clip the ball causing its trajectory to skew off to the side and only a quick recovery would keep it in their hands...er, feet.

jayden nods, commiting the other's name to memory. kazimir. why did that sound familiar? hm.

[break][break] with the match starting, it's his blond teammates that takes to the ball first and then has his pokemon transfer the ball to jayden. the rocket blinks as the ball is thrown in his direction, not quite being able to anticipate the speed.

[break][break] it is, after all, his first time.

[break][break] the ball whirls against his chest as he jumps slightly in the air, and then drops to the floor before him. jayden fumbles briefly with the ball before deciding to kick it towards his garchomp, who decidingly as a better handle on the ball.

[break][break] across from them lay their two teammates and their pokemon. of note, jayden catches a glimpse of the other's arcanine and boltund.

[break][break] the latter is the easiest to deal with, so that's who they'll focus on. a low whistle underbreath directs the garchomp to use bulldoze as she runs down the field, aiming for the electric-type who takes the attack with a sharp yelp.

[break][break] the garchomp then headbutts the ball in kazimir's direction once more.

the ball lands by his feet and before it can roll away kaz's longer legs managed to hook it and bring it over to him as he kicks the ball ahead of him as his machamp follows up close behind. that's when the opposing arcanine takes their focus off of jayden and his pokemon and comes after the muscular duo. all they do is grin. "shoooooot!" kaz yells out as his machamp charges forward ahead of him and the ball with its arms brought up in a cross chop and it lunges at the arcanine. while the fire dog is distracted kazimir takes the time to take a shot at the goal post in sight hoping that the muscles in his legs manage to send it pretty far despite them being a questionable distance from it.

[break][break] the soccer ball hits net effortlessly, signaling the goal on their side. "nice job," jayden says, nodding at the blond. he readies himself as the opposing goalee readies itself for the next hit, taking the ball and then sending it through the air with a single kick.

[break][break] "dragon rush!" jayden instructs, and tyr goes running across the field. his body glowes with bright blue flames as he leaps into the air and stops the ball in mid-air, swiping at the ball with a wing. the ball spirals in the air towards the opposing goalee once more.

the ball once again goes for a goal shot but the goalie's pokemon, a lumbering snorlax, is surprisingly quicker than one would think as it jumps in the wall of the ball and lets it bounce off of its massive belly and back onto the field where the opposing team takes control of it. "crap! that goalie is pretty good! let's try to take it back boys!" kaz calls out as he races in running past a few of the defenders that get in his way as he drops to the floor into a slide to kick the ball out from under the opposing player who has it. 

they were just as quick as their snorlax however and managed to kick the ball away just in time for kaz to take out their leg and have them fall on top of the blonde. as the ball sailed over to their side of the field kaz's machamp was quick to jump up and with a dymanic punch spike the ball back at the goalie post this time hoping its sheer power would be able to break through their defenses.

unfortunately not.

[break][break] fast as the snorlax may be, it is also exceedingly large. the pokemon uses block the ball bounces off it's plush belly with nearly no harm, thanks to it's thick fat ability. the snorlax looks down tiredly and scratches it's tum. then it reaches for the ball with it's claws and lets out a belch. poison gas leaks through the air, unfortunately knocking out many pokemon and people on Kazimir Wynter and jayden's team.

[break][break] it's unfortunate, and even more unfortunate that that the boltund takes to take advantage of the lull. he headbutts the ball out of the sleepy snorlax's hands, quickly dribbling the ball between it's agile paws. it races across the field with wild charge.

[break][break] "sandstorm!" jayden calls. immediately, a storm of dust and dirt overwhelm the boltund, making the pokemon whimper with confusion as it's site is obscured. jayden is quick to run forward and take advantage of the lull, kicking the ball out of the canine's way and hopefully into kaz's side. "catch!"

as people fall over kaz is able to get out from under the player passed out on top of him just in time to see the ball coming his way and he quickly scrambled to catch it. however inside the dirty mist was a bolt of orange that shot past players until it zipped right past kazimir and intercepted the ball and started to head towards his and jayden cross's goal. as the blur slowed down it revealed itself to be a Raichu that had used a quick attack to get ahead of both of them. "shit its too fast! yokozuna!" kaz calls out as the boltund manages to make it over to their sdie of the field and past their defenders and headbutt the ball towards their goal. however on their goalie side of the field was kazimir's hariyama who had been patiently watching from his position and was more than ready to deflect the ball coming its way. with an arm thrust it was able to slap the ball away from the post and rolling on back towards jayden cross's garchomp earning a cheer from kazimir as he rejoined his team. "good thing we got our own big guy guarding our goal huh?!"

[break][break] it's unfortunate, but not unexpected. as athletic as jayden may naturally be, he holds no torch to the countless of real soccer players that probably have come before him. the raichu darts out from the dirt cloud, stealing the ball from their team effortlessly.

[break][break] thankfully, it seems like they have a good defense too. jayden watches as their goalee smacks the ball away with a thrust of their own, and jayden finds himself blinking at his "teammate". "very good," jayden agrees with a nod.

[break][break] a low whistle signals his garchomp to leap forward, catching the ball with his chest. this time he uses dragon rush to run down the field, hopefully avoiding the boltund and arcanine who both try to stop him on the way. the arcanine attemps to block him, but is bulldozed by the move, flinching.

[break][break] with a dramatic flare, tyr headbutts the ball in the kazimir's direction.

[break][break] after all, two was better than one wasn't it?

kaz manages to get the ball inbetween his legs and goes off running towards the goal post. his eyes meet the the snorlax that had been giving them trouble in even getting a single point, its large size was its advantage just like their hariyama meaning they could take up the entire goal and just stand there and block. of course a thought popped into his head as he thought about it, if it was standing still then it wouldn't really move to block an incoming attack would it?

"hey michael! try to make an opening for us on that goalie! distract it or something! machoman take the shot!" kaz called out as he passed the ball to his machamp who only took a few steps before stopping and with another low sweep kicked the ball towards the goal post, mowing down a few players as it wrecked their uniforms and tore up the grass field as enough power to rival a charging taurous was behind the kick.

"sure," jayden agrees.

[break][break] it's a good enough plan and one that jayden and his team are more than capable of processing. his gaze shifts towards his garchomp, sounding out a low whistle. the garchomp lets a roar of agreement as it runs across the field towards the snorlax.

[break][break] she jumps nimbly out of the way of the arcanine and boltund that attempt to block her path, diving deep down into the earth with dig. seconds later, she appears at the other end of the field and attempts a bulldoze to crash into the normal pokemon. it lets out a groan as it's forcibly shoved to the side, making room for Kazimir Wynter to make his goal.

as the duo of kaz and his machamp make their way towards the goal they see the garchomp tackle the large snorlax out of the way of the goal post. yet the other team still had other players and the arcanine and boltund that were passed by by jayden cross's garchomp looked upon kazimir and his partner and knew that they needed to stop the kazimir and machamp. "machoman take them out!" the fighting type pounded his chest with his two free hands before running up to get between kazimir and the two dog pokemon before diving forward with a cross chop at both of them smacking them out of the way. after that kazimir was close enough to the goal that he decided it was now or never. 

they had to take the shot.

so rearing his foot back he shot it forward and gave the ball a powerful kick and sent it flying into the goal earning them a roaring cheer from the crowd around them. "hell yeah! that's how ya win!"

the crowd lets out a booming cheer as @kaz makes his next goal.

[break][break] "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!"

[break][break] the shouts clear as the snorlax gets into position again, tossing the ball to the arcanine who headbutts the ball forward and uses flare blitz to run halfway down the field.

[break][break] "get him!" jayden's voice rings clear and tyr runs across the field, slamming into the pokemon with yet another bulldoze attack. the dog lets out a painful whine as he crumples to the floor.

[break][break] it gives jayden the opening to steal the ball, however, and give a kick towards the goal.
