[break][break] as a person who wears an almost annoyingly neutral expression at all times, he's been described as unfeeling or robotic. the opposite is true, however. when he feels, he feels deeply. when he trust, he trusts for life. though he may not give this privilege to everyone, he takes his commitments very seriously. jayden is honest, to-the-point, and loyal to the bone; at his worst, he can be stubborn, manipulative and have somewhat of a martyr complex. [break][break] most of his closest friends are those from kanto and apart of rocket, including Asriel Pryde, Ashley Shepard (former), and mint frost. + ENEMIESjayden's entire life has been devoted to servicing rocket. naturally, there are a few conflicts that may arise because of it. [break][break] as a result, there is probably a good chance that there is a bounty on his head — or several. whether they be family members of those he murdered, business rivals, or anyone who associates with MATIAS SILPH, he has his fair share of enemies. [break][break] either way, one thing is for sure. jayden cross probably has a lot of enemies. + LOVERSdue to his upbringing, it is difficult for jayden to get close to anyone. what is easier, however, are sexual flings or one night stands. he is the type of person to just let things happen to him, given the right circumstance. [break][break] jayden is bisexual demiromantic, meaning he's attracted to either men or women, even though he typically feels more of a pull towards the former. though he's been burned in the past, recently he's met a special someone who has begun healing that process. he's currently taken by fern delaney. [break][break] + OTHERjayden's relationship with his family is complicated at best, suffocating at worst. he thinks of rocket like his family, and the members in it like his own blood. for many of them, he would be willing to sacrifice everything if it was for the success of team rocket. [break][break] that being said, there is one thing that trumps all else — and that is the fear of his father, dmitri's, influence. luckily (?) for him, it seems that dmitri is no longer in sight. over a year ago, he - along with his mother and brother - were reported dead as a result of the war, when silas blackwell also died. [break][break] asked about this topic, however, he will get cagey and uncomfortable. if not downright avoidant. [break][break] an interesting plot hook could possibly be people who knew his father, or past-threads involving his father recruiting someone into rocket. his father was a rocket scientist, and recruited well-known people such as head scientist raphael pryde. however, his father was also as terrifying a figure as silas blackwell is to most rockets, or fernando silph to non-rockets. [break][break] her mother dragged her to hoenn when she was 16, settling down in verdenturf. that's where she got into her first relationship - one that when it ended, she signed up for the war in kanto. the next remaining years are all a blur - full of fighting, anger and rage towards the rockets and everything that they did to them. but in the same way, this was the time in her life that she remembers most fondly — creating bonds that she will remember for the rest of her life. [break][break] callie never wanted to leave kanto - never wanted to give up - but she had no choice. and now she's in hoenn, working for the lilycove police department. however, despite the years that have passed, it's not so easy to give up. she still holds a grudge against rocket and everything they've done. and if she sees one? well, it's shoot on sight for her. [break][break] it's easy to be friends with callie, but it's hard to get close with her. it takes a special kind of person to break the walls that she'd held up — even more difficult now with everything that's happened. + ENEMIEShaving spend years fighting rocket in kanto, callie has no shortage of enemies. there is of course the fact that she holds against rocket and all that are related to them, which makes her more than willing to shoot them on sight should the situation arise. [break][break] that being said, callie is capable of making enemies all on her own too. she is stubborn and fiery, so there have been plenty of instances where she's acted out before she thought it completely through. the result is that not every can put up with her impulsive nature. not that callie minds — she knows who she is, and she isn't afraid to cause conflict. [break][break] in her schoolyard years, it was not uncommon for callie to get into a fight all on her own. she's never had a mother to stand up for her, so she's always had to do it herself. + LOVERScallie is pansexual, meaning that she is attracted to all genders. she's had her own string of flirtations, hook-ups and the occasional relationship. however, in despite of all of that, she has always held something special for Soleil Frye in her heart, even if things are a bit difficult right now. [break][break] in addition, she had a boyfriend back in kanto who she left completely the moment that she retired from the army and booked a trip to kanto. this character is open for adoption, so let me know if you're interested! [break][break] as far as other things, callie has always put her work before her relationships and her preference for Soleil above all else. unfortunately, this has made things rather complicated at times. + OTHERcallie's relationship with her mother has always been tumultuous. she was taken from her mother at age 5 to age 10, being flitted around foster homes for that time. when her mother regained custody of her, life was always difficult to the unusual way that astra lives her life. astra is a fortune teller and a psychic, obssesed with the occult, and has never acted like a "normal" mother.
