Angelo loved to fly. So much so, he was training how to get his piloting license, with aspirations of taking to the skies every single day. [break][break]

Being sucked up into a Z-Move typhoon gone astray however, was not something that he’d had on his flight agenda when waking up this morning. [break][break]

“WHAT THE FUCK!”[break][break]

Feet ripped from off the ground, Angelo makes to snatch his hand around Doug’s arm, teeth gritting as violent winds and torrential water swirl together; gripping on tight to his ‘brother’ as they’re dragged along by the mercy of an out-of-control tempest. [break][break]

Screeching, Oberon manages to latch onto Angelo’s back. Less out of a desire to help and more out of an attempt to save his own neck by anchoring himself to his trainer. The AIR SLASH it releases, too, is more out of self-preservation to try and hurtle himself (and all those attached to him) out of the surging wall. [break][break]

Angelo loved to fly. But by fuck, he was going to kill those guys when he landed…

This wasn't how he died. He REFUSED death by Laurence Anderson fanboy!

The keystone attached to his strawhat's cords glowed and cracked with energy as the youth grabbed back onto Angelo, his arm swinging upwards dramatically.

"Sphectra- MEGA EVOLUTION!"

"BUZZ BUZZ, BUUUUZZ... BUUUUUUUUZZ!" The Beedrill buzzed as it was surrounded by a cocoon of light, before shattering it to emerge in its new form.

With its new found power, the pokemon proceeded to pluck both Doug's and Angelo's jackets/tops-

And hauled ass.

The vortex was strong, but the Beedrill had something on its side- the fact that ITS trainers were not the ones caught up in the vortex.

The Carracosta, tired and poisoned, grew alarmed as the unmistakeable screams of its own trainers finally reached its ears- and cut its Z-move short of complete devastation.

The vortex began slowing down until the Rabio Duo was gently draped over the floors like leaves- unconcious and defeated, much like how they claimed Angelo would be.

The sleeping Turtonator had been caught up in the vortex. It had once been sleeping- now it was just flat out unconcious. And as for the Carracosta...

The poison did its work, and it lurched forward a moment later, faceplanting across the floors.

...

VICTORY!

It's over, it's done.

“So, as I was saying…” [break][break]

Angelo sighs, sipping a cold beer on a bench, watching as ambulance sirens wail and fade off into the distance. An arm is slung over the backrest as he passes one to Doug, victory tasting of cheap – and slightly lukewarm – booze and an overdue catchup with his unofficial-adoptee brother. [break][break]

“Shouldn't be much longer now, actually but I've been busy training to get my pilot licence.” A grin forms, a hand raising to crush the iconic straw hat playfully down on Doug’s head to make him sink a little lower. He’s getting too tall, Angelo notes… Doug better not grow another inch.[break][break]

“I'll take you for a flight once I get it. On the house, for the younger Unnofficial BugCatcher Association Captain Bro™.”

He stared at the beer wryly for a moment, before glancing at Angelo.

"Ya and skyler dross are terrible influences." He pointed out with a grin as he brought the lukewarm beer to his lips, taking a strong swig.

He almost spat it all out when the man palmed his hat.

"Ack- Careful, it's the original!" Cried out Doug in dismay as Angelo flattened his battle-scarred strawhat into his head, swatting lightly at the man's hand before trying to pop it back up.

His whining was all for show however, his broad smile as he looked at Angelo and the naked admiration in his gaze rather unmistakeable. Throwing the checkered hat back atop his head, the youth threw his arm around the man and hugged him tight.

"I'll hold ya to that, so ya better not back out later!" He said, before pausing for a moment to think... and winking. "Mind if I bring a date with me?"
