If there was one thing that Melody Miro would notice about her one-time bodyguard as he entered the Battle Tent, it would be that he looked soul-less, despite the attempt at politeness.

No perhaps because of it. A smile too weak, gaze too blank, posture stiff. He was all over the place and rather unlike the man at the gym.

Gwyar for his part felt like both his own puppet and his own puppeteer, attempting in vain to make himself act as he normally would while feeling entirely out of it.

Besides him, Raki stepped forth to the fray once again, slapping his cheeks twice before lowering himself into a ready stance. The last few battles hadn't been going his way, but that was fine. This was a learning experience. He didn't need to get caught up in such things...

Just focus on learning...

Ugh.

Melody skipped along to her spot on the battle field, she had a battle with a familiar face today! She had met Gwyar Wledig previously, but the man before her was acting entirely different than the one she saw previously, it was SO obvious on his face that even melody could notice it. "Hey uhhhh. Gwyar, are you ok?" she asked curiously wondering if something was plaguing his mind as she pulled out a pokeball and waved to the little Riolu who accompanied him. [break][break]

She picked this one specifically for him! A fighting type vs a fighting type! A tsareena in all of her queenly majesty let out a fiercely powerful stature as she stood there judging the Riolu intensely with her hands on her hips "First move is yours by the way!" she tells him as she was ready to get to battling right away!

The man responded with a blank smile.

"Yes." He said simply while his Riolu cheerfully waved back at Melody Miro, before yelping as his opponent was thrown into the ring, her aura almost immediately causing a shift in the arena's energy.

Raki growled as he found himself unwittingly taking a step back, feeling rather sluggish in the face of the Queen's splendor. Never once to be told his place however, the Riolu began barking furiously, before raising his fist high in the air and smashing it across the floor.

Spiderweb cracks spread over the arena before he tore a large rock off, throwing it at the Tsareena!

The Riolu seemed to be stunned of tsareena queenly majesty, good! Melody would be able to use that later...maybe? Who knows or cares! Go with the flow! Melody was impressed with riolu's strength as he managed to rip up the floor barehanded! How cool! However Tsareena seemed extremely uninterested in it and used it's own strength to counter as melody also called it out too "Tsareena tropical kick and get in close queen!" she called out. The tsareena used tropical kick as requested to smash the rock and even dashed towards Riolu to also kick the pokemon itself with the same move, tropical kick! [break][break]

However Melody felt a bit off, was...was Gwyar actually telling a lie? she couldn't tell really as she always struggled to read people when it came to truths and lies.

Raki's gaze flashed red as the Tsareena swung her long legs at him, his body flaring with a blue aura as his arms moved to intercept with a flowing motion.

The kick slammed onto his forearm and palm and nearly pushed into his head, before he grasped the limb firmly and went to swing the Queenly pokemon across the the field with a counter!

The attack seemingly connected at first, however Riolu is a Pokémon well versed in aura manipulation and thus was able to deal with it. "Your Riolu never ceases to amaze me!" she comments as she puts her hands together joyfully. The Tsareena is then spun around and flung away from the Riolu, she manages to land but it was obvious that it was a rough landing. [break][break]

"power whip!" she orders as Tsareena lifts her hands up together and creates a vine from it's hands that it slams down on the arena aimed right towards Riolu.

"Huh? Ah, uh... Thank you." The man replied awkwardly.

Raki, whoever, preened himself at the praise, puffing his chest for Melody Miro with both paws at his hips. At her order however, he simply cocked his head, not quite knowing how he was supposed to use power whip...

And promptly got power whipped in the process, sent hurtling across the field and face planting across the dirt a moment later.

"... Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer, Raki." Gwyar offered after a moment as the little puppy picked itself up, coughed out dirt, and then glared furiously over his shoulder, before swinging his arm into the air.

So THAT'S how you did it!

A large, grassy whip tore out of the soil as he did, rising high in the air before attempting to fall down and flatten the queen!

It seemed that Melody's statement earlier about always being impressed by that riolu became even more true with every moment that passed. Both her and Tsareena felt a moment of pride, however tsareena was the only one who's pride slowly turned into terror when she realized he was copying her move at her. She placed both of her arms up in an x, attempting to block the hit. [break][break]

The power whip lands and Tsareena is sent into the float and her arms were a bit more red than normal signifying she took the hit head on. She pulled herself out of the hole in the floor and dusts off some of the dirt on her long legs. She looks for revenge as she charges at the Riolu at a full burst to get close and use double slap on the little pokemon and teach him a lesson!

The clap of Raki's cheeks being shook by the Tsareena's palms echoed across the arena, the puppy's head snapping in two different directions sharply following each swing.

For a moment, the Riolu remained wide-eyed, looking off in the direction he had quite literally been punched on.

Then he slowly turned his gaze back to the Tsareena, and scowled.

Copycat.

Oh no, a bitch slap fight? Tsareena stood there stunned that the Riolu would even DARE do such a thing against someone as majestic as Tsareena?! Tsareena growled angrily at the Riolu "Sorry about her, she's a bit of a drama queen!" she said waving towards gwyar and Riolu as tsareena decided to make her move. [break][break]

Tsareena looked like she was going to do another double slap maneuvar but as soon as she was going to hit the riolu with her hands she delivered a quick tropical kick instead.

The bitch slap battle would have gone on for longer, but the Tsareena just had to be clever.

The kick nailed the Riolu across the cheek, sending him hurtling back across the field, bouncing off the soil with a few groans and yips before he flipped back to his feet, growling.

In a burst of motion, he suddenly dashed forward to attack, naruto running his way to the queen to try and tackle her to the floor!

Oh no this just got worse as it went on. Melody cringed as soon as she saw how quickly Riolu was dashing towards Tsareena. The Pokemon held out her palm to stop the creature as her ability queenly majesty stopped the Pokémon from moving too quickly. [break][break]

She let out a yawn as she seemed uninterested in an attack with high priority. It took this opportunity to fire off another power whip at close range and Melody frowned. Her tsareena could be so rude...but she did perfectly embody the personality of a diva..Melody was really torn inside about using this pokemon sometimes, hopefully gwyar and Riolu could forgive her for it.

The Riolu found himself sluggish despite his best attempts at high speed, gasping for a moment before getting slapped across the field by yet another power whip, bouncing off the floor and wheezing as he slowly picked himself up.

He glared angrily at Tsareena...

And copied her again.

A power whip attempted to tear out of the soil below the queen and wrap around one of her long legs, trying to throw her across the battle tent into a wall!

Oh god the copycat power whip again! There was a lot more force in this attack than before, riolu's anger was fairing putting more oomph behind the hit. The Tsareena was indeed sent flying into the wall, in fact it was hard enough that Tsareena went right through the nearby wooden fence but it laid out flat doing it's best poker face possible as it was a beneath a queen to show pain or emotion. [break][break]

It stood up, the battle marks on it becoming more and more apparent as time went on yet she remained unwavering. It was then that she realized she'd have to use some grace to win this battle as well, she began to move with a strange grace as a peculiar dance was performed that would cause confusion to Riolu.
