Leave it to Mars to casually say things like those as if he’s joking.

He isn’t, for the most part, but the comment is brushed away the moment Cian takes his hand, also ever so slightly shifting positions for the sake of comfort. Usually, he would prefer to hold hands in a less… aggressive manner, but competitive as he has always been, there’s a certain appeal to all of this.

The match begins, but he carries on with the conversation while pushing down, not putting too much effort at the start. ”Mm… You do? I’ll make sure to wear them next time we see each other, then. Usually I only wear them at work... Pretty sure everyone there thinks I must be blind.” A smirk, knowing only Cian will hear these words. Looking professional and smart is part of Martín del Mar’s carefully crafted image, after all, and for some reason, the glasses really help with that.
