she was excited to see her friend again. after all things had been hectic and it was hard to keep track of everyone. but she was still glad melody was still around.

"hey! glad we could do this!"

especially since there was a lot of battling to be done and not a lot of time left for it. but she was sure she'd get what she needed done.

her shiny happiny waved to the other baby pokemon from across the way, knowing that they were going to have the most brutal baby fight ever in existence ever. but probably not honestly.

"i'm really behind in battles! but i'm catching up. i've been up since four this morning getting them in!"

and she was running a little bit ragged. but that wasn't going to stop her in the slightest.

"a baby battle sounds great, go on sunny!"

gently she urged the baby pokemon forward as she waddled out onto the battlefield, looking around curiously and then back at giselle. sending her trainer a small wave.

"pound!" the happiny rushed closer, her fist up to give the other baby a solid punch on the FACE.

Igglybuff being extremely confused about the whole situation didn't even register that they were battling. So for it's inability to keep up, a pound registered RIGHT across her face. Igglybuff stared right at the opponent's pokemon and fired off a disarming voice right at the Happiny for it's violence.

BATTLE THEME

it was going to be a pretty back and forth baby fight as far as she could tell. especially since they were both new and baby pokemon. but that was fine. it was more relaxing than anything else.

sunny rushed towards the other pokemon, grabbing onto the igglybuff and trying to grab her with a seismic toss this time. it was a move that was weird for a baby to know but here they went at least.

"i've been meaning to stop by your gym but things have been busy. i'm getting ready to get started on challenging gyms in earnest!"

she felt like it would help with her ranger work to get better at battling other people.

"Yes please! I'd love to see your performance. What challenge were you thinking of?" she asked curiously, wondering what Giselle had in mind when checking out melody's roster. The happiny out of nowhere pulled off a serious ass wrestling move melody recognized as seismic toss. [break][break]

The only thing stopping igglybuff from outright dying right there was the fact that the puff on it's head softened the blow. That and the fact that igglybuff was a very lightweight Pokémon who had a lot of air inside of it's system. [break][break]

Didn't make it hurt any less though. "Iggly buff! Copycat!" she called out as Igglybuff quickly copied the seismic toss, grabbing happinys legs and rolling for a toss as well.

oh no, her pokemon were out of control again. "i haven't really figured it out yet. you have a lot of good ones! it's going to be hard to choose." she'd only been browsing the information about different gyms but that was a lot of work in itself.

"oh, i'm so sorry. i didn't even know she knew that move!"

because she hadn't really been using her for battling. it was only fair that the attack got used against her since she did the same thing. she was flipped onto the floor as well and it seemed like it was just a baby wrestling match.

sunny yelled loudly, with disarming voice after seeing and feeling her own move used against her. it hurt and she didn't like it! her head hurt now...

Melody's igglybuff felt kinda bad for wrestling the baby to the ground with that seismic toss, especially when she cried out because of it. So to apologize the igglybuff began to sing a song! Her favorite song! It usually calmed down everyone around her whenever she sang, sometimes they even fell asleep too! She better stay awake for her performance though or else she'd get REALLY angry at happiny.

BATTLE THEME

of course being a baby, sunny was going to fall asleep rather easily. especially since she was very tired from throwing her new friend around and being thrown around as well. so she curled up into a ball and laid down on the ground, little snores coming from her as she did. it was a good place to sleep! and surely no one would mind if she did.

Igglybuff stared at Happiny, HOW DARE SHE! Igglybuff outta give her a good ol POUND! So she did! Iggy slapped happiny around with pound a couple of times for being so mean and falling asleep during her song! It was SUPPOSED TO BE A SPECIAL MOMENT! RUINED! [break][break]

Melody watched in horror "Oh jeebus. She's mad." she said out loud "Igglybuff calm down! It's ok! She's just a baby who's sleepy!" she ordered her pokemon who turned around with an angry face at Melody.

BATTLE THEME

happiny was very confused when she fell asleep and then all of a sudden pain on her face. it was a very ouchie nap and she didn't understand it. especially since usually her naps were NOT ouchie at all. very strange. very suspicious really. "it's only fair, sunny used a wrestling move on her for some reason." baby wrangling was much more difficult than it seemed. but sunny yawned, rubbing her face where the ouchies were and getting angry. using disarming voice to yell about how upset she was.
