The umbreon surfaced, hoping to attack her opponent by surprised. However, her opponent was ready. To her surprised, the Seismitoad slammed its weight on her. Smushing her like a pancake. He was heavy, almost suffocating her with his weight. She wiggled against him, but that costed a lot of energy. So much, that she soon felt faint. She gasped for air before consciousness left her and her body went numb.

Maverick let out a sigh. Yep. There it was. The finishing move. All well. The trainer recalled his creature, shoving her in his pocket. “Well played,” he mumbles to her, “But next time I won’t go so easy on you.” He let out a laugh, knowing damn well he had a long way to go to get to her level. Either way, he gave her a smirk and turned to leave. Hand rose to wave goodbye.
