he was told he was against someone with a big name, though it doesn't bother kyle too much since it's just a casual event. maybe she'll go easy on him?

kyle kinda was, but the number of fights he has done in a short amount of time has killed it a bit. it's still alive, just a little bit dead until the new day rolls over.

Of course not, cause kyle lopez was the Champion on the Canons list and Callie was just a Champion without a fancy title attached.

while the fearow was focusing his energy, the mightyena was also tightening its laser focus in the battle.

"oh, are they doing something?"

from a perspective of a spectator, nothing was happening besides pokemon focusing really hard.

the fearow's beak spins like a drill because it's using drill peck. it would look creepy if he considers how biologically impossible it should be.

then again, it's pokemon. they can have anime moments like that.

"we should do a hyper beam."

the mightyena tries to get up after being drilled by a bird and fires off a hyper beam. not having to act afterwards to recharge means the next post is easier.

Hell yeah, look at Aero out here. Work smarter not harder, king.

The Hyper Beam burned the Fearow like it was a crispy fried chicken but it wasn't down and out yet.

A Mirror Move was used to it actually used Hyper Beam, too.

both pokemon now have used hyper beam. they are now recharging and chilling on the floor, almost dead from eating up those attacks.

"they look pretty beat. want to make them rest for another turn?"

kyle was just being caring about their pokemon. they shouldn't be overworking them anyways since it's just a casual event.

kyle walks over and ruffles the dog's fur while it's slumped on the ground. the dog does the weird jerking motion where it wants to stand up, but can't on first try, so it does it again.
