”Yeah, you do look kind of dead. You sure you’re not gonna fall asleep while cooking?” For only a second, there’s a faint smirk as she says that.

But, the truth is that she’s tired too, even if she’s used to early mornings. Splashing water on his face did help, but that can only do so much when hungover.

But, at least an idiot who can cook a decent breakfast, because as harshly as Sol may judge him at times, when looking at the food on the table, even she could admit that it looked too good to pass up.

For now, Sol doesn’t think of this, simply bringing two steaming cups of coffee over to the table. She offers him one.

he accepts one of the steaming cups with a grateful smile, nodding at her question, though remaining silent for moments as to consider whether he should say it...

with a shrug, he blows steam away from his cup before sipping coffee. it helps just a little.

"i love watching those chef shows and copying what they do. it's fun."

Unlike him, she does eat calmly and with care, but not because she’s making an effort to do this. It’s perhaps yet another result of her upbringing, and of having strict parents who made sure their children had proper table manners.
