"I'm sorry to hear that, Lloyd. What did he do to earn such a cold shoulder?" Bill asked. He himself had three kids, though only one had taken after him, and only one had made him truly proud. They weren't the same child.

Poipole floated over to Theo, peeking over the man's shoulder and waiting to assist with the pancakes. Skwovet stuffed its cheeks with sweet, sweet honey collected by pride. The little rat wasn't looking to help, only for a quick meal! Hawlucha saw the little sweet thief and launched itself into the air, hurtling down to slam the rodent with a Flying Press that sprayed the honey from the Skwovet's cheeks all over the Combee Waffles. "All according to plan," Bill mused, pointing to where the exact scenario had been laid out, point by point, in their prep instructions.

the suggestion to try and find someone within the same field is appreciated, though, and theo makes sure to dip his head in response.

Bill got to work on the next order. His little green Politoed completed most of the soda itself. Filling the glass with bubbling soda and bouncing it up and down to make it foam and jiggle.

His Musharna helped with the other half of the order, bringing all the ingredients together and mixing them with her psychic powers.

"Claude reminds me of me at the same age. Hard drinking, obnoxious, and even has a cool motorcycle." Bill set to work putting away bowls and knives, clearing space for their final order. "Hopefully he'll mellow out a little."

Raphael can't help but chuckle at the idea of the Head of the Rangers forcing his peers to buy their own things. All because they didn't want to fork over the money. Clearly some money management lessons needed to be had. "Sometimes you can teach kids so much, and watch as they trip and fall despite all your efforts to prevent it. Its a learning experience if nothing else for them."[break][break]

With all the ingredients of the current, there was a bit of an overpowering sweet smell to it all. Him not being a fan particularly made him light headed with it so he uses the Weezing for its NEUTRALIZING GAS to dull it's sent. [break][break]

Finally everything was over, and now all that was left was to clean up. "That was a workout"

"Yes," Bill said, confirming the poor management of the Rangers. "Some idiocy about not wanting to accept money. Either that or he's embezzling." He shrugged, setting to work on their final dish. "If only he could bring his force of will to financial matters, then he might be able to stop their decline. Do you two remember when there used to be a proper Ranger station in every route? Now they barely have satellite offices outside of the major cities."

Behind Bill, Miltank and Slowking worked on imbuing the final dish with sweet milk and dubious medicine. Their final customer was looking a bit under the weather and had paid extra for a 'healing' dish. They sent out the dessert and set about cleaning up. "Have you seen what he's paying the rangers these days?" he asked the others, as they washed up. "You might as well become a school teacher."
