Seems like the other wasn't having as much fun as he was as he tried to get out of the ELECTROWEB. He couldn't say the same even if situations were reversed as he still got off on the pain. [Break][break]

He was about to walk to the other to pick him up so they could continue but he is forced to stop with the mist covering his vision. How annoying, though it seems the flier manages to escape during the time. His Lucario seems to point in a direction, most likely still able to sense their enemy's aura but he declines.[break][break]

"Only if you believe I won this in a game," Pryde shoots back to the other as he raises his robotic arm halfway as if to make clear of what it was the old man has his hand twist at the wrist in a 190 fashion to show it wasn't a real one. The masked man just watches in amusement as they seem to just barely make it on the other side in time. [break][break]

Though his attention is drawn only slightly as the shadow pokemon attacks with some sort of storm attack. Pryde needing to brace himself to not be blown off himself. Though his dodrio was not as lucky as he was smacked down by the storm, the force enough to blow him off the ridge and go smacking down as it would hit the cliff side and fall. Body to broken to help itself. Not that pryde seemed to care too much as another pokemon is brought out. [break][break]

Though that's when Pryde notices the other attempting to leave and Pryde's arm then uses ELECTROWEB once more to wrap an electric web to try and stop the other, "Nah uh uh we're still having fun," Pryde muses while this Lucario readies itself for battle. The shadow pokemon going in to try and use SHADOW BOLT against the other.

There is a satisfying hum from him as if there was a itch that had been scratched with the violence. Though he does rub his chin in interest as the other seems to float, seems like the gravity here also effected people and not just objects. Who knew the other would actually be helping him in learning things here. [break][break]

The Dodrio braces itself for the attack with the AIR SLASH while Pryde decides to intervene a little himself as he uses the Rotom within his fist to aim an ELECTRO WEB at the bird pokemon hoping to hurt and possibly make her fall. Though the dark looking Alteria is interestingly something new and not something he expected something the league would have. "Intertesting did you find this or is the league making their own little projects now?" he ask with pure curiosity more than anything else. His tone amused to show just how little he thought about hurting the other. [break][break]

He gives a whistle and despite getting hit by the MOONBLAST and the area getting a new lighting the Dodrio knows what would happen to it should it not continue. So despite it's injuries it moves and and tries to THRASH the shadow pokemon.

The older Pryde runs after his son but its clear he isn't as in shape as the young man. Huffing a bit to catch his breath as he can still hear the creature giving chase after them while Asriel tries to talk to the others. He looks out the window to see that not far there is a bridge between two buildings in which they could use to their advantage. [break][break]

That's when the Steam Legend comes from around the corner with a large growl which just mad the scienist curse some as it seemed their only way to survive this was to sacrifice the specimen. Oh well. [break][break]

"Oi you two, if you want to survive this lure that thing to the bridge," Pryde orders as he is technically still the Head Scientist here as he calls out his

He has heard of this man before, angelo vestri, married to the Sea Bison's Avatar and apparently in current possession of one of the Eon Pokemon. "You know Im someone of a science man myself I would hope you could indulge me in a study of my own," he askes with the same old smile he had hidden behind the face mask. [break][break]

There is a click in his tongue before his pokemon goes for a TRI ATTACK, at the birdge intending to break it and maybe if he were lucky force the other to use any avatar powers if he had them.

His time in Kanto felt almost too short. But the news of something new coming along in Hoenn had hit even them, and the old man was more than curious about the new phenomenon so he traveled here. And rather than visiting anyone he comes straight to the Granite Caves and enters the new dimension. [break][break]

Its curious on how the air itself even felt different. A wave of his arm and he could tell from that things felt different as he takes out a pokeball and tosses it up. Watching as it seems to float in the air as the ball itself was floating in water. Interesting... [break][break]

The random pokeball coming out to be Dodrio and he leaves it for now, see how this place effected it as he made sure to check his arm to make sure everything was running as full capacity. Though the explosion and sudden appearance of some weird crystal that connected the platforms caught his attention. Pryde ends up blocking the otherwise of the path as he gives a similar whistle a man gives a beautiful lady. Though in this case the lady was the science behind the ore. [break][break]

"Interesting trick there, how'd you do that?" he questions with some interest for now. A twitch in his hand as if there was a violent itch he was wanting to scratch.

The walls move, the room heats up, and gears begin to turn as the Carkol does it's job. Its charcoal and heated body giving the mechanism it needed in order to give life to the room around them. The others going off to search give him little concern as Pryde allows his curiosity to guide them toward danger. As finally something gives life as within the room a once broken down Volcanion gives life. It seems to struggle in getting up at first as it's glitched body tries to get up but the old man finds it more amusing than terrifying. [break][break]

Thoughts that he couldn't linger on as the pokemon attempts to attack. The Rotom within his arm activates defensive protocols as it switches forms within his arm and as the Steam Pokemon attacks with a SCALD, Pryde taking up a position in front of his son as his rotom uses PROTECT to protect the Pryde family. The force pushing them back but at least remain unharmed for the most part. With that Raph would give his son a push in the direction in where the others left. [break][break]

Retreat and give it more bodies to chase was the clear option here. That or at least with more of them it would be easier to take this thing down.

The trip is simple enough, his mechanical arm making it easy for his old body to go down the line as if he was using his own it might not have worked as well. For a moment he considers answering Ruby about the reason why they didn't have the limited resource that was the item that allowed them the chance to teleport, until Asriel gives a quick answer. One that amuses him greatly and he approves of as he allows his son to take lead as he even comes up with a decent idea on how to find the location he wanted. [break][break]

"Good work," he gives the rare genuine compliment to his boy as the Luxray leads them back into the engine room with little to no know trouble. A pat on the shoulder has he walks past him into the room, admittedly his mind too curious about the task at hand to give the rest of the castle a real look. From there he approaches the engine as he calls out a carkol and commands it to start it up, using a mix of its coal and heat to get it started.

It wasn't long before the last trip where Pryde wanted to come back to this place. With plans to visit Kanto for a few months he wants to take more information to go back with. So accompanied once again by the same people they make their way back to the mechanical kingdom. He watches as his son shows off confidence in his choices on how to approach moving on, the older man seeming to nod in approval to it as he moves forward and touches the line as if to test it. "Simple enough," is all he really offers as he takes one of the gear offered as Pryde allows one of the others to go first. Allow the young to lead the way. [break][break]

Eventually after they all would've ziplined to their location Pryde would look around, "I would like to find the room from before, I believe it could be useful if we can start that engine," he tells the others as he gives the group a goal to aim toward.

The older man follows behind the other, keeping close enough that if something else happened the mercenary could handle as he's done his job. He has the oil from the bird to prove it. As Belial Stone checks in with the younger members of their team Pryde checks the room, seeing the broken doll that seemed to be made from clock parts. He looks at one of the parts back and front when the other finally addresses him after having contacted the others. [break][break]

"I haven't had the time until now," he comments as if to remind the other how busy he has been fighting a god damn mechanical bird. Making bringing the others here seem like a moot point. "But yes," he simply answers as he grabs something, his Rotom giving a warning that others were coming making Pryde look back to see his son. [break][break]

While he seems indifferent the old man would never admit to the tad bit of relief he feels seeing him unharmed for the most part. It wasn't like he expected anything worse considering the training his mother has put him through. He gives Asriel a nod before the other one adds in her two cents, "Sounds like something to look into another time hmm?" he gives them a chance to ponder before retreviving the device used to teleport them there in the first place. "Our time here is short lets go," he orders giving chance for the others to touch so they would teleport back. [break][break]

Before the mercenary came to his aide Pryde was on his own for a slight bit. And while the sword pokemon seemed to get a decent hit in, its clear it wasn't enough. The corviknight throws another attack which stabs at his living shield, knocking the Heatran out. [break][break]

Least the other finally arrives commenting on how angry the bird was. "Really? Couldn't tell," he sarcastically comments back as he calls for his Magnezone while the other pokemon attack. And while the SMOKESCREEN gives them cover, if this bird really is man made, rather than some sort of unnatural Corviknight of this realm he doesn't think the smoke will work as he knows he has his own devices with heat seeking to deter such things. So based off that he commands the Ceruledge to climb on top of it while it was low down. [break][break]

After, with Pryde hanging on to him, Magnezone uses ALLY SWITCH to switch places with the terastalized pokemon. While it may be trashing about with the man on it's back its a close enough look to see how this thing runs. Pryde then uses his arm touch the metalbird head before the rotom inside unleashes a DISCHARGE throughout it's systems sending the bird to crash down. Magnezone making sure to land as safely as possible. [break][break]

With it's system disrupted for the time being, even when the bird gets up again it looks blinded, unsure of where its targets were. Its only then would Pryde leave after Stone, "Have you heard from the children?" he questions seeing if the other knew anything.

"The results of long experiments," Pryde excuses as he watches knowing that they're at the disadvantage with most of this one's moves being fighting and normal. Though this was about seeing how far it was willing to push to go further as she races at the ghost pokemon before delivering a BULLET PUNCH.[break][break]

"You'll find that being friendly doesn't always help when you're in charge," he advices, while at times he does play the boss that is on your side. There is a line and he knows to make sure they stay behind it.

That or the young man himself was a suck up, which didn't matter too much to him as the nudnik provided good exercise for his Riolu batch. [break][break]
