Blood stained and sweat slicked, Angelo hunts for the closest rift.

It mattered little how many times he'd penned the terrain in the past. With the expanding of the dimension and the fog of fatigue lingering in the corner of his eyes, worn from battles and scarce sleep, navigating is a slower process than usual.

But fuelled with determination and long-crafted expertise, Angelo locates one. Only problem was it lies on the opposite side of a ravenous trench.

The realm had to give him one last hurdle...

Taking the mysterious ore from his pocket, the Nautica owner smashes it on the rock and its glittering faces explode like a glass bauble. Taking a step back, Angelo watches as the volcanic coloured shards twist and expand to form a bridge.

Concerned little for heights, Angelo begins to cross.

His time in Kanto felt almost too short. But the news of something new coming along in Hoenn had hit even them, and the old man was more than curious about the new phenomenon so he traveled here. And rather than visiting anyone he comes straight to the Granite Caves and enters the new dimension. [break][break]

Its curious on how the air itself even felt different. A wave of his arm and he could tell from that things felt different as he takes out a pokeball and tosses it up. Watching as it seems to float in the air as the ball itself was floating in water. Interesting... [break][break]

The random pokeball coming out to be Dodrio and he leaves it for now, see how this place effected it as he made sure to check his arm to make sure everything was running as full capacity. Though the explosion and sudden appearance of some weird crystal that connected the platforms caught his attention. Pryde ends up blocking the otherwise of the path as he gives a similar whistle a man gives a beautiful lady. Though in this case the lady was the science behind the ore. [break][break]

"Interesting trick there, how'd you do that?" he questions with some interest for now. A twitch in his hand as if there was a violent itch he was wanting to scratch.

There's a moment or two where his footfalls falter briefly, fatigue tugging him towards the dark chasm that yawns below but Angelo stays the course.

Even as an unfamiliar figure emerges at the end of the bridge, attempting small talk and a barricade, he continues on with no intention stopping. Albeit slower.

There's a pip of foreboding taking root in his chest.

“Ore. Smash. Makes shit,” he says with a smile, voice cracking blunt at the edges. Tired. “If you want a scientific explanation, you're holding up the wrong guy.”

He's so close to the rift now...

From a capsule, a Pidgeot stretches her wings, hovering over the trench. “Going to move, gramps?”

The implied threat drifts like a feather in the breeze.

"Indeed you strike me more of a hair full of air than anything else," the old man chuckles as the other makes his own jokes and his own threats. He has heard of this man before, angelo vestri, married to the Sea Bison's Avatar and apparently in current possession of one of the Eon Pokemon. "You know Im someone of a science man myself I would hope you could indulge me in a study of my own," he askes with the same old smile he had hidden behind the face mask. [break][break]

There is a click in his tongue before his pokemon goes for a TRI ATTACK, at the birdge intending to break it and maybe if he were lucky force the other to use any avatar powers if he had them.

Angelo chuckles, an impressed little nod at the old man's bite. Got me there, it seemed to say. Both men all smiles, teeth revealed in false harmlessness, before the descent of a brutal crunch.

Energy impales the makeshift bridge, ore crumbling beneath his feet like a cookie dunked in liquid.

“Cover me!” He shouts to the pidgeot, and jumps with as much suddenness as his thumping heart.

Gravity was strange here and although Angelo floats somewhat as he leaps rift-side, he barely makes it. A grunt of pain and exertion whooshes past his lips as he crashes into the rocky edge of the trench, legs dangling over nothing but air.

Swooping in front of him, his pidgeot kicks up an air slash towards the dodrio, attempting to hold it back.

“Fuck.” Awareness jolts through him as he scrambles for footing, and as rocks ping down the chasm, blue eyes snap up towards the old man. His own vulnerable position hard to ignore.

Using her was a risky move, but options were dwindling...

A storm appears on an unholy screech and unnaturally dark cloud wings, usually soft white. The shadow altaria appears overhead like an encroaching squall, lightning threatening to break with each wing stroke.

From a false conjuring of the moon above their heads, a moonblast descends.

the first time the user uses the move MOONBLAST it will cause the weather condition LUNAR ECLIPSE for FIVE TURNS.

As the world turns dark, Angelo starts to haul himself over the lip.

There is a satisfying hum from him as if there was a itch that had been scratched with the violence. Though he does rub his chin in interest as the other seems to float, seems like the gravity here also effected people and not just objects. Who knew the other would actually be helping him in learning things here. [break][break]

The Dodrio braces itself for the attack with the AIR SLASH while Pryde decides to intervene a little himself as he uses the Rotom within his fist to aim an ELECTRO WEB at the bird pokemon hoping to hurt and possibly make her fall. Though the dark looking Alteria is interestingly something new and not something he expected something the league would have. "Intertesting did you find this or is the league making their own little projects now?" he ask with pure curiosity more than anything else. His tone amused to show just how little he thought about hurting the other. [break][break]

He gives a whistle and despite getting hit by the MOONBLAST and the area getting a new lighting the Dodrio knows what would happen to it should it not continue. So despite it's injuries it moves and and tries to THRASH the shadow pokemon.

Through gritted teeth, Angelo manages to haul himself up over the edge of the ravine. Sweat dripping down the back of his neck, covered in dust and grime and blood, to his feet he clambers.

Standing before the imposingly large figure with a sharp reveal of teeth, as if it were a middle finger.

“Would you believe me if I told you I won it in a poker game?”

His taunt is followed by a vicious screech, his shadow altaria hungry herself. Avoiding the dodrio by flying higher, she begins to beat her wings. Wind howling.

Boosted under the lunar eclipse's fairy enhancements, the summoned springtide storm that she unleashes promises to bathe the pink petals a darker shade of red.

Anyone's who gets in the way.

Biting back a curse as the storm whips up indiscriminately, Angelo attempts to bolt away from Raphael Pryde . Lunging for the primal rift while he takes aim...

Wings entangled in the electric webbing, his pidgeot falls in a pained screech. Silenced only when a sickening crunch of bones collide into the trench's walls, the darkness below swallowing her for good...

"Only if you believe I won this in a game," Pryde shoots back to the other as he raises his robotic arm halfway as if to make clear of what it was the old man has his hand twist at the wrist in a 190 fashion to show it wasn't a real one. The masked man just watches in amusement as they seem to just barely make it on the other side in time. [break][break]

Though his attention is drawn only slightly as the shadow pokemon attacks with some sort of storm attack. Pryde needing to brace himself to not be blown off himself. Though his dodrio was not as lucky as he was smacked down by the storm, the force enough to blow him off the ridge and go smacking down as it would hit the cliff side and fall. Body to broken to help itself. Not that pryde seemed to care too much as another pokemon is brought out. [break][break]

Though that's when Pryde notices the other attempting to leave and Pryde's arm then uses ELECTROWEB once more to wrap an electric web to try and stop the other, "Nah uh uh we're still having fun," Pryde muses while this Lucario readies itself for battle. The shadow pokemon going in to try and use SHADOW BOLT against the other.

One more body falls.

Then another.

His.

Web entangles around his ankles, sending the pilot crashing gracelessly to the floor with a winded wheeze. At first, Angelo is more pissed off that this old fucker had some tricks up his sleeves, than hurt.

Light, jovial taunting marks the end of that.

Reaching back to try and tear the web off, Angelo all bared teeth and snarls, tongue forming an insult - until its replaced by a gut wrenching scream.

“Go fuck yo– Aaaaagh!”

Electricity pumps through his skin, his flesh, his blood. An electroweb sending violent shocks throughout his body, until Angelo is writhing in pain as an unwilling participant to satisfy Raphael Pryde's itch.

He doesn't hear Alto being struck by the shadow bolt. Nothing else exists in that moment except burning white.

Frantically, somehow Angelo manages to kick and untangle his legs from the web. Fighting through the spasms, grunting and breathless in exertion, with great effort a trembling hand reaches into his pocket.

“M-Mist...”

Suddenly, their small areas is awash in the shadow altaria's mist. When it clears, both it and Angelo are gone.

Head swirling, everything an unreliable blur as black dots swim like lurking sharpedo in his vision, Angelo had managed to stagger away.

In that moment, it didn't matter where. Just away, to lick his wounds.
