Following his recent incident, the lifter had to take cardio more seriously. He couldn't risk being passed out from biking too hard. To that end, he was out on the route between Verdanturf and his job. Enes wore a black cyclist's onesie, a mask, a plain black trucker hat, and high-top sneakers.

He was being chased by a big bean, just a surly bug. He seemed to be having fun with it, occasionally hurling a treat over his shoulder for it. He was at this point just as bad as any trainer who parked his Bagon in the daycare and did donuts in the parking lot to give it XP.

“......”

As luck would have it, out of the corner of his eye, he could see the person who helped him wrangle his cat weeks ago. He came to a stop, and the little Karrablast bumped its head into the back tire.

"Oh, hey. I hope I didn't stop ya while you were running errands. What's up?"

she was a bit surprised to see the young man she helped weeks prior. how time flew. before she knew it, the take-over had happened in her absence. Groudon was still at large. so much was happening.

The two of them were here for the same reason, more or less. He tipped his cap to Siobhan as a greeting. Now was the perfect time to elaborate. He peeled his mask down.

“Same here. I got jumped the other day. I’m looking for something big and mean looking. All of my pokemon are babies, and I need something to protect them if I can’t.”

A rather uncharitable reading of his meeting with Mint, but it left behind a very real adult fear. Nonetheless, the two were flanked by wild bugs. Rather serendipitously, one even looked big and hard to knock over. Karrablast used Swords Dance, readying itself for a fight. Crustle used Stealth Rock. While this’d be a problem later, it was left open to Peck, and a ball hurled to try and cut the battle short.

"How about you? What are you trying to get out of this?"

"you got jumped?" Siobhan's eyes flickered briefly with concern. Enes would state he was looking for something big, mean-looking. something with some force behind it. "have you considered dragons?" she asked him before her gaze looked to a Venonat.

she could do with a worse poison type.

calling out her Dusknoir, it made short work of the weaker Pokemon. a few Fire Punches here and there, and the bug was defeated. she tosses a Pokeball at it. "I like to collect" Siobhan adds "I'm on the hunt for poison or bug types."

but make no mistake - she gave all her Pokemon equal treatment.

The 'jumping', truth be told, was embarrassing. He was stronger than his pursuer, but the two of them clumsily snapped at eachother. They were more like cats playing than someone witnessing a crime and scrambling to get away.

"the only Pokémon I had as a child was a Rookidee" Siobhan replies patiently, her eyes drifting over to the Vivillon. she directs Gravedigger to attack the bug-type "I like poison-types. I am learning to like bug-types."

and how else can one learn to accept and love but to expose themselves to the subject? "but I'm a bit picky with what kinds" she adds as the Dusknoir drops the Vivillon at her feet, fainted. she takes a spare Pokeball out and captures it.

"Vivillon are interesting. their wing pattern changes depending on where they live..."
