HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

as a new and upcoming taste in Rocket, Dutch realized she had to do grunt work first. with her Salamence at her side, she was to 'ferry' other Rockets across the city. some wanted to survey the area themselves. some wanted a view of the Tree. either way, there was steady work involved with transporting them over Sootopolis.

she leans against the rocky walls of the city, arms crossed. it was almost time to head in for the night, pick up in the morning. a few days of this, with pay, and she could justify spending all her cash on something big. might as well splurge when the faction was doing so well, right? "oh. hey" Dutch's eye lights up when she notices another Rocket -

coming toward her on a mission. a paying customer, huh?

Today had too much going on. The number of places to visit and meetings to be held, numbered in the dozens. Usually, Killian would teleport to and from wherever he needed but the body could only handle so much. So, here he was, waving to Dutch, a smile on his face.

"We meet again, Dutch." Killian stopped before her, arms folding over his chest. "I've got plenty of places to be today. Are you sure you're Salamance can handle it?" he teased, nodding to the dragon.

"if it ain't Killian Decker" Dutch caws, grinning. she moves to the side to allow him access to her Salamence "Sylph can handle ya, aye" the dragon hissed in response; as if insulted it could not. the raven haired woman moves around the dragon and gets on "she ain't dropped a Grunt yet!" she adds to this, laughing as she pats the blue hide of the dragon.

"where to first?" the pirate asks, making sure he had ample time to get on the dragon. when he was situated, she would click her tongue. the Salamence would take off smoothly, circling the area once before hovering. Sylph waited for instructions like any good pet. Dutch was more than eager to show off her Pokemon's training.

"Let's hope she doesn't drop an admin." that wouldn't go over well for Dutch or her dragon. Smiling, he mounts the Salamence and slides comfortable behind the woman.

He's reminded of flying on Aubie with Alexandra Briarwood. Although those flights had been a bit more intimate in nature.

"Our first stop is Dewford Town."

"if she does, then I drop with ya, Decker" Dutch is quick to retort "better than the bullshit waitin' for me when I tell Rocket." torture, disqualified from rank. death maybe. she's been the one looking in on these things, never the one receiving them. but it does give her option to run to the League. ah well.

maybe another day of thinking blasphemous thoughts.

"up" she orders Sylph, who takes off above the clouds "I suppose we going in discretely?" she asked Killian, keeping her eye open for any wayward rivals. Sootopolis was theirs, but the League was not going to lick their wounds for long. she wants to ask what is in Dewford but resists. for once, she doesn't care. she knows it ain't her business.

"Killian." he cuts her off before she has a chance to say anything else. It happens almost instinctively. "Decker's far too formal." and reminded him too much of the likes of Cillian Quinn and Lulu Flint.

He's quick to ease the tension he built with a smile. "But it's nice to know you'll go down with me." Up they go, and he has to remind himself not to hold her waist.

"Right on the money. So stay above the clouds until we get close."
