This was a difficult choice to make. I've been on Hoenn for 2 and a half years - a long time - a great time. But all great things come to an end eventually. And for me, that's now.

My life has gotten too busy to keep up with Hoenn. Which sucks because I want to be here writing with everyone. I want to be creative and tell fantastic stories with talented people.

But I don't have the time, and when I do, I don't have the energy to write. So I think that's my cue to step away.

Before I do, I wanted to say:

Thank you Hoenn

For the memories and the good times, the plots and the chance to grow as a writer.

The fungal Pokemon sighed weakly. "Shi, shi, shi..." It opened its arm, welcoming the rotating tortoise. Shiinotic grabbed Blastoise's shell desperately, tiny fingers looking for any purchase amongst the grooves. It found none and went spiraling off Blastoise's back. [break][break]

Shiinotic tumbled through the water, releasing clouds of pollen as it went. Every inch of it cried out in pain, but Shiinotic pushed it down. With gritted teeth, it willed roots to erupt from the ground to catch it. Shiinotic launched those roots at Blastoise, eager to GIGA DRAIN his life.[break][break]

The biomass at Killian's stomach stretched from him to Kazimir's knee in a attempt to hold him - consume him. [break][break]

With no other choice, Shiinotic took the full force of Blastoise's attack. It recoiled, crying in pain as its arm retracted and it slunk back. As it did, spores leaked from its body and flung themselves at Blastoise. [break][break]

Steam erupted like a geyser as fire met water in a classic clash of elements. Armarouge lowered its arm, breathing heavily amidst the vapors. "Arma!" it bellowed in challenge.

Killian clicked his tongue. Where the fuck was that bird? They frowned. Did Articuno not care for its servant or was the current threat not enough to warrant its arrival? [break][break]

Killian crept closer to Lars as their Pokemon clashed. Growling, he lunged at that ranger, camouflage dropping to reveal a razor-lined tentacle. The thorne appendage threaten to wrap around Lars and pull him closer to Killian - to them.[break][break]

Paranoia has a bitter taste, and Killian's not sure of its source. This place? The hours he's spent without rest? A combination of the two? He - they needed it gone. [break][break]

And who better to distract them from it than Hoenn's head ranger.[break][break]

Killian spotted Laurence Anderson from a distance. The misting of frost trailing in his wake was impossible to miss. "Articuno." Killian muttered, looking around for the deity. He didn't see the overgrown pheasant, but they'd see how long that lasted.[break][break]

Dropping Armarouge's Poke Ball, he ordered it to attack. Spiraling flames burned the air on their way path to Laurence Anderson back. When Lars eventually turned to look at his attacker, he'd see only the Armarouge. Fire burning brightly in its orange cannon..[break][break]
