Killian's camouflage dropped the second Eris shouted. Mesprit, Moltres' wraith - Eris and the company he found her in. Too much raced through his mind to focus on maintaining the veil. [break][break]

"One problem at a time."[break][break]

"That is Moltres." he said, nodding to the phantom bird. "Or a pissed-off part of it, I think." Killian's breadth of knowledge encompassed many things, but spirits weren't his forte. He frowned, cursing himself and his overeagerness. He should have come here with Alexandra Briarwood. [break][break]

Crimson flames bombarded the side of their temporary shield. The fire wasn't reaching them, but its heat bled into the air. [break][break]

Killian wiped the sweat from his brow, watching as the firebird dodged between hurled debris. "We're not going to hit it like this." they needed a plan. A way to pin it down and secure a hit. [break][break]

"How capable are your friends, Eris?" suspicion and contempt twisted the innocent question into an ugly accusation. "Very, I hope. I have a plan, but I need Moltres distracted. My pal needs time to gather its power." [break][break]

Deoxys shuddered beneath Killian's skin as another Fire Blast assaulted the Protect.

MIST drew in around him, and Killian dropped the Poke Ball in his hand. Galarian Slowbro already knew its orders. Seconds before the fog thickened, Slowbro's Shell Side Arm fired poisonous death at kyle lopez.[break][break]

A month without a word to Rocket, and this is where Killian found Eris? Rat is his first thought. What else is he to think, given the situation? Only yesterday, they had two Rockets (CIAN MAHER and Johanna Joy) turn traitor on them.[break][break]

He slowed, eyes on the strangers surrounding Eris. Neither looked familiar to him, but he'd remember their faces now. When Killian returned to Starlight, he'd do some digging and maybe discover who these men were. [break][break]

How long had it been here? Days became ash in this place, time barely a construct able to form. Yet it knew it as the hours passed. For the anger in its heart grew fierce. Simple frustration at a crime it couldn't remember now an inferno of rage. [break][break]

Around the group, the temperature spiked. The sudden heat stuck to the mist like glue. Killian frowned, wiping sweat from his brow when he felt Deoxys shudder. Danger, the parasite screamed.[break][break]

Punishment.[break][break]

Columns of fire erupted nearby, and Killian shouted, "Get back!" on impulse. He reached for Eris Halla's arm to try and yank her backward. They needed to run.

As helpful as nina larson was in his previous excursion (flawlessly handling both the League and his Naganadel), Killian opted to head into the Border alone. Well, not truly alone. Killian looked at Deoxys flying a few feet ahead of him. [break][break]

Whatever world Yveltal ripped a hole into raced even its alien heart. Like pricks of a needle against Killian's skin, Deoxys' apprehension radiated inside him.[break][break]

"You're going too fast." he called out but got no reply. Clicking his tongue, rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. "The silent treatment, perfect. Will you at least warn me if you see trouble?" Ah, but Killian didn't need Deoxys to alert of anything. One glance down the mountainous path, and he saw it for himself. [break][break]

Trouble in a tiny, familiar package. [break][break]

What the hell was Eris doing here? And who was with her? [break][break]

"Deoxys, can you -" the alien was one step ahead of Killian. Falling back, the creature slipped inside his body, and they vanished. Slowly, invisible, Killian approached the trio from behind.

Starlight is welcoming the new year with a bang! The Sootopolis casino is hosting its first annual double battle tournament: THE BIG BANG CLASH. Many can enter, but only one will walk away with the 2,000-dollar prize and the title of Clash King or Queen.

THE RULES

Participants BRING 4 POKEMON but can ONLY USE 2 DURING A MATCH. [break][break]
All matches are DOUBLE BATTLES.[break][break]
You can only use TWO MOVES per post.[break][break]
BBC uses an HP SYSTEM for its matches. Participants START WITH 1,000 HP that goes down each time one of there Pokemon is hit with an attack. The amount of HP subtracted is determined by an attacks' Base Power. (I.E. Overheat with its BP of 130 reduces the opponents HP to 870 when landed).[break][break]
Moves can have their damage adjusted (either increased or reduced) by the weather and terrain affecting the match.[break][break]
Two dice are rolled at the start of a match to determine weather and terrain.[break][break]
PROTECT AND SIMILAR MOVES have their effects changed, REDUCING DAMAGE BY HALF (I.E. a 100 damage becomes 50)[break][break]
DOUBLE TEAM, MINIMIZE, & AGILITY have their effects changed, REDUCING DAMAGE BY HALF.[break][break]
RECOVER AND SIMILAR MOVES ARE BANNED [break][break]
OHKO MOVES ARE BANNED [break][break]
MULTI-HIT MOVES (BULLET SEED, FURY SWIPES, ETC.) damage as if they hit three times. (I.E. BULLET SEED DEALS 75 DAMAGE.)

The fog is deep. Dark and Ghost-type moves deal +50 Damage, all other moves deal -50 Damage.[break][break]

Meteor Shower [81-100][break]
Meteors crash onto the field. All moves deal +75 Damage but Pokemon lose -100 HP each post.

Clear Terrain [1-20][break]
An empty field.[break][break]

Electric Terrain [21-40][break]
The terrain is supercharged. Electric-type moves deal +50 Damage and can hit Ground-type Pokemon. Water & Ground-type moves deal -50 Damage. Normal-type moves become electric-type.[break][break]

Grassy Terrain [41-60][break]
The field is in full bloom. Grass and Bug-type moves deal +25 Damage, Grass and Bug Pokemon take -50 Damage. Fire-type moves deal +25 Damage. Normal-type moves become Grass-type. [break][break]

Killian didn't wait long to make his move after spotting Nina. He nodded to his Orbeetle and reached out his arm. The limb extended, stretching like a toy as it snaked its way to the woman. She couldn't have been more than a few feet away when it touched her shoulder. [break][break]

Orbeetle's psychic powers expanded to cover them both, and the pair vanished in a flash. They reappeared a moment later near the entrance to the rift.[break][break]

The underboss took a deep breath. "Great work, Nina. You handled Bloodborne well." he said with a nod. If Rocket captured another Ultra Beast, she'd make an excellent trainer for it. [break][break]

He marked her with another kiss, and another on his way to her lips. Beautiful cherry lips that he couldn't wait to spend a lifetime kissing.
