As Kim goes off on another soliloquy, Najwa smiles and admires him for his clear passion for their daughter, and their family, and then his friends.

Reaching out, she touches Kim's cheek, brushing her fingers over the soft skin there. "I don't know why no one told you, but I'm sort of glad they didn't, or we might not have wound up together..." Najwa wrinkles her nose. "If you had've had one with someone else." She pouts and scoots a bit closer. "I can't bear that thought." She sighs wistfully and kisses his cheek again.

"I do believe you about Lira, though. She's such a fussy baby, she'll probably put up a stink when we pick her up. Thank goodness we'll placate her with pasta."

She kisses him again, before sitting up on top of him, grabbing her towel from the bench. "So, pasta, some wine, and nice quiet night after putting Lira down to bed?" She suggests, before lifting off of him.
