Reaching out, she touches Kim's cheek, brushing her fingers over the soft skin there. "I don't know why no one told you, but I'm sort of glad they didn't, or we might not have wound up together..." Najwa wrinkles her nose. "If you had've had one with someone else." She pouts and scoots a bit closer. "I can't bear that thought." She sighs wistfully and kisses his cheek again.

"I do believe you about Lira, though. She's such a fussy baby, she'll probably put up a stink when we pick her up. Thank goodness we'll placate her with pasta."

"Pasta sounds lovely. Do you think Lira is having a fun time in the daycare centre? I hope she doesn't miss us too much." She furrows her brows a little bit. "We deserve this, though. Right? We're hard working parents. Plus, she's going to have so many cute little buddies to hang out with..." She pauses. "Do you think Cait and Senon will want playdates? That would be fun..." She thinks about the expectant cait alfric , and a smile comes to her face. "It would be nice for you guys to reconnect a bit more, too. Do the whole parenting thing together, right?"

Laughing softly as she curls her fingers tighter into Kim’s, she shakes her head. "If they have, they definitely didn’t do it like that. Or as well." She yawns and stretches out, her free arm rising, body cracking and popping a bit.

"Mm, I’m getting old. Soon I’ll be nothing but a bag of creaky bones." She smirks and lowers her arm, cuddling closer to Kim. "We should have something rich for dinner. With lots of butter and herbs."

Najwa smiles at FERNANDO SILPH and sips her water, making sure she grabs a snack from a passing waitress. She chews on it for a few bites, before sighing softly. "Well, I've been doing alright. Working, mothering. The usual." She waves her hand a bit and glances at Kim as he starts to dance towards her, eyebrow raising.

"Alright, looks like my time to socialize is up, my husband beckons." She waves over her shoulder as she joins her kim cole-essam on the dance floor, hitting him with her terribly amazing moves, too.

"You're dancing beautifully, darling." She tells Kim, although they both know they look like dorks. Oh well. The power of Hoopa seems to compel her into this tomfoolery.

At this point, Najwa doesn't even mind kim cole-essam's eccentricity. She's used to it - he's extra at home, so expecting him to be anything less at a big function was a huge ask.

Still, after he makes his way back to her, she waves her hand and grins. "No, no. You go ahead. You're doing great. I'm just going to go get some water, maybe some snacks." She kisses his cheek and looks around for the food and drink tables. Lately, her hunger has been insatiable.

"I'll meet up with you after you're done your dance, and we can dance together, okay?" She smiles and squeezes his arm before leaving her husband to go find some refreshments. Instead, she sees FERNANDO SILPH, and decides to say hello since it's been a while. "Fernando." She steps up beside him, being conveniently located close enough to the drinks that she's able to grab some water on the way to him. "It's nice to see you." She smiles politely - she's different than before. Happier. Full of life, not just striving for perfection always. "Having fun?"

"Kim." Najwa whispers, pressing their foreheads together. "Remember the changing room?" She smirks a little bit and pulls away from him, sitting on the opposite side as him.

"Take that memory and apply it here." She points to the ground, raising her eyebrows expectantly.

His move, now.

"This is the first time we've been without Lira in months..." She whispers. "I almost forget what it's like to not have her babbling away..." She wraps her arms around Kim's neck, settling in his lap. "It's interesting."

"Tripping. For sure." Najwa laughs softly and looks over at him as he touches her arm. "You're not allowed to die; you have two women in your life who would be too sad if you did." She twirls a bit of his hair on her finger.

"I can make you feel like you're in heaven, though." She hits him with one of his own lines, grinning cheekily at her husband as she watches him. She could be disgustingly smooth sometimes, too.

Najwa shakes her head, bouncing Lira as she coos and watches all the pokemon work together to get things sorted.

"Nope." She smirks a bit, because Kim is best at this part - diplomacy, at least when he wasn't flinging around dough and hitting a certain Silph CEO in the face with it.

Lira squeals and reaches for him. "Seems like its your turn." She quirks an eyebrow.

It was nice to not have to deal with Lira's teething today. Instead, she got to spend a lovely few hours with her husband in a sauna spa.

After getting rinsed off, she clips her hair up so it's not hanging down her back, and steps out into the sauna area, holding her towel around herself. "Kim..." She looks around for him in the steam, before spotting him relaxing with his eyes closed. She smiles and crosses the room after closing the door behind her, sitting down next to him. "This is nice." She stretches her arms and wiggles her fingers.

"Hm... I suppose we don't know they won't slip back into old ways. But having it explained to them that they'll die out might set them straight for at least a little while. Until the league can set up something more permanent."

She scoots forward towards him, and kisses his cheek. "We can report back after we get things settled, and maybe the league can relocate to a reserve or something, when they'll have plenty of resources, without being in direct captivity."
