He didn't leave her much room in the way of non-tolerated behaviors.

When she got all determined and spicy it was a turn on.

When she got demure and compromising, it was a turn on.

He'd yet to find a flavor of Cait he didn't like. "I mean..."

"A numerical name?" He'd heard much worse that that.

But "Four?" "If that's at the top of your list I'd swap it out for Seven it just has a better ring to it." Obviously she was staking her claim on how far she was willing to let their brood grow. Since he mostly agreed with her on the number, playing dumb was more fun. "I mean I wouldn't date a dude named Seven Game but maybe you know something I don't."

she expertly rearranged her fingers, angling them in a way so she could flick at his forehead.

"if four isn't enough we'll just keep trying until i'm satisfied," she declared, boldly.

cait gave a nod, appearing satisfied with such a decision. she'd not relinquish her hold upon her mate until he performed his respective duties. though it was doubtful she - and by extension, celebi - would be willing to allow the male to take his leave so easily. that dark seed of possessiveness was firmly planted, having only worsened in the midst of her pregnancy.

thankfully senon didn't mind that she was eager to keep him. and if he did, he was damned good at concealing his true feelings on the matter.

'he's a good man,' she thought. 'i can't just let him go. not without a fight, at least. on top of that, our pokemon are deeply entangled. i doubt mine would want to see their mates and friends just disappear.'

but their respective allegiances may result in a few complications down the road if she wasn't careful. it was a terrible shame the man hadn't easily taken to fernando - but at least he enjoyed stormy's company. perhaps if FERNANDO SILPH was a woman such an issue wouldn't have cropped up in the first place.

"hm."

cait would need to develop a 'worst case scenario' plan that involved her keeping senon by her side without harming him terribly. but she neatly filed away any ~~outright diabolical~~ morally questionable plots for later.

"let's head back to our room. i've been standing for a little too long, i think."

His pride didn't let him take eyes off her. Seemingly defiant against even fate itself to have what she wanted, and fair in what she was willing to offer to have it.

Now that the year was winding down it was dawning him just how busy the following year was going to be.

He was beginning to have a change of heart about leaving Cait to do the lion's share of the child rearing upfront so that he could keep keep Snorlax from blocking the roads and settling inter-species pokémon disputes.

The Ranger didn't need him as much as his own children would.

No point in bringing it to Cait until he was sure about it.

Taking her hand they made way for the Sauna exit. "How about one kid every year until you're thirty?" He picked her up bridal style, because his pores were opened and he was primed for a bit of lifting.

Also because it would relieve her feet. "Segue, we should watch Aliens tonight.." Yes, he was thinking of Cait birthing dozens of little redheaded "facehuggers".

Babies hugged faces didn't they? Yeah, babies hugged faces.

it was an interesting proposition. taxing perhaps - but still interesting. cait imagined the pair with a large family in a few years, but she decided to offer herself a minimum of two years between each child.

"i'll think about it."

her voice was soft, the woman's expression thoughtful as they began to make their way back to their hotel. it was a beautiful location but almost astonishingly expensive. senon had footed the bill, the amount the inn requested for a few nights likely barely anything of note to the man.

"i can walk, you know."

cait didn't struggle as he lifted her with a practiced ease, merely leaning her head against his shoulder and fingering a few strands of his hair. it was a position she enjoyed, despite her words - and his hair was easily accessible.

"... i must be heavier at this point. and it's a 'no' to aliens. sorry - not sorry."

He ignored her half-protests of being carried. He supposed it could be embarrassing for a grown woman to be carried out of a public place like a baby.

The extra context of the place being a hot spring made it seem like she was some rich diva being haughty and making her bodyguard do the work of her manual transport.

It didn't matter, most people seemed to know who they were anyway and then the context explained itself.

Perks of being the most (in/)famous couple in Hoenn.

"Whattttttt?" He added octaves to his voice for effect.
"Its not a horror movie." The doors of the Lavaridge Springs open automatically as they approached. "It's an action movie about Motherhood." He tilted his head connecting dots he hadn't considered until just now.

"Although granted, mothering to me, uhhhh seems like it would be a nightmare." The door began to close cutting off prying ears in the lobby from Cait's likely winning retort against her fiance's egging her on. "Especially if they're my kids." His cheeky grin looking down at her being the final shot of the couple making their leave.

Conspicuously, peeking out of a string-backpack the redhead had on, a poké egg began to crack and rumble.
