It was inevitable, it was time to face the music (again).

Due to being so busy as of late, he hadn’t had much time to parse and properly process what the hell had happened as of late; his initial burst of anger had been directed somewhere (somewhat) however he had yet to come face to face with the man of the hour himself.

He was thankful that he had a pretty solid RBF, otherwise his anger would’ve given his true emotions away. That, and the deity was there to keep him calm as much as possible because—

He was not expecting to run into the ~~oyaji~~ il vecchio all the way out here at Lavaridge while waiting for one of the massage rooms to open up due to the rather extended waiting list.

The massage room opened and Bill got up onto the table, eager for the firm, muscle-pounding massage that only an oiled up Machamp can offer. "This is a bit out of your way, isn't it?" he asked, lying face down on the table.

The Machamp pressed four firm hands into Bill's back and he melted like Sootopolis gelato in the sun. He let out a very un-councilman-like noise. "And there is no better way to spend a few hours-" Machamp oiled his hands and ran two of them down Bill's back, cracking it as he went "-than getting loosened up by a professional."

Unfortunately, unlike his Lucario Alpha, Lars had no easily discernible way of telling if people were lying—more so if it was the old man across him.

Getting the shit pounded on by a Machamp would’ve been fine normally, but holy shit the way they prodded at his tense shoulder muscles made him grunt as well.

“So… I heard you were elected,” he continued, being very careful to tread on the topic because he still had—words to say about whoever had lost their minds and allowed him a position up there.

Much tempted as he was to lash out, he decided to hold his tongue—for now.

“Forgive the impudence, but that bank name sounds absolutely hokey,” he remarked, grunting as the problem spot was finally addressed and he felt his shoulders about to turn into fucking jelly.

“Ah, shit, that knot finally got worked out,” he grunted a few moments later. Damn it, now his arms felt like absolute jelly as well.

“Either way, I’m not sure if the bank’s name was on purpose or something. Kind of sounds like those ‘memes’ the young kids keep going on about…” he added with another sigh as the four hands moved downward to address another problem spot.

The Machamp stopped to add more oil to the Councilman's back before getting back to work on his lower back. Bill had always carried his tension there.

"It means 'Large Gold Square'. What we might today call gold bullion. I don't know what you think is hokey about it."
