The ringing voice of the professor manages to pull out her only daughter to come out with her for some collection hunt. Kano completely disregards how the sun is starting to roll down and transitioned into nighttime in a matter of hours as morning for Kano was her time to do some experiment. It is not like she is scared of the dark. An army of voltorb is waiting on her belt ready to give a hand to her despite knowing that sooner or later - Kano will perform Self Destruct on them.

"Well, I am going to look for Voltorb or any pokemon that knows the move Self Destruct - You can do anything you want, Lila" Kano tells Lila dismissively despite she is the one that invites her. All she desires is to give Lila as much freedom despite how awkward Kano is trying to tell that desire.

Lila was tired, but it was a tired she was used to. She felt the hand of her Mother squeezing against hers, her shorter stature attempting what it could to keep up. ”M-Mama. Wait—” her tone was humble as it already knew that such pleas would go unheard of. When Ms. Iyona wanted to go hunting or do her research, it was difficult for anyone to convince her otherwise; her daughter included.

Still, a breath of fresh air had always been better than the cramped space of their home. While her Mother’s eyes peeled away, searching for more assistants, Lila’s widened at the grassy fields ahead of them. Her Phantump hovered above her, sharing a smile that seemed to be now her only company.

”I wonder how long we’ll be here today, Phantump.” she murmured, watching the figure of her guardian pursue anything flammable. ”I hope it’s soon. I don't know how much more I can keep going...” Kano’s mornings were strikingly different from Lila’s. Though she was just as much of a fanatic as her, she was tenfold less of an adult; softly rubbing the dark circles under her eyes.

Kano eyes darts all over the places looking for the pokemon that she is looking for or the pokemon that might pique her interest. Kano exerts three voltorb to float around, frantically finding another pokemon that shares the same species as they are. Their mind has been clouded with fear to the point of forming a mindset that if Kano owns more Voltorb or Electrode - The chance for them to die to get lower significantly. However, all she sees right now is a wild Sunflora and Arctozolt.

Kano touches her chin pondering while staring at the bipedal flower pokemon. Their biological body needs plenty of water and sun to survive like any other plant but to a certain degree, a non-plant creature lives longer and more resilient than a plant especially a sunflower - Does this also works for Sunflora - That thought is running through her mind rapidly. "Lila, in your opinion - If we deprived the Sunflora of any sun and water - Will they outlive a normal sunflower if it got the same treatment" Kano decides to shares her thought with her daughter. Sometimes, a child's mind comes with interesting theories.

"Any of those Pokemon interest you, Lila?"
