AN INCENSE IS LIT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED. The tomb stones of those who’ve lost their lives in the glass workshop are visited routinely. Fernando makes a point of memorizing their names as well as their epitaph.

HE RECOGNIZES ONLY ONE CHARACTER: an Unown. Unquestionably so as it floats within his vicinity. Careful nerves stay wary of the inevitable HIDDEN POWER he expects to come. Avoiding it at all costs sits at the forefront of his mind, a stark reminder to his time on Mount Chimney.

“Battle routine set!”

A Pokeball whirls through the air, spinning from the curve of his throw. His Gyarados, one of his more disposable Pokemon, surfaces, coiling like the coming of a thunderstorm. Its terrible roar shakes his footing as the mountain groans underneath its INTIMIDATION.

“Execute!”

CRUNCH! Pointed fangs dig into the Pokemon’s form, puncturing spots in its flesh as the serpent rattles its prey. He attempts a capture once it gives out.
