Sake. The bottle is unique enough to recognize from its shape. It’s not a drink Lex ever really indulges in, she’s a straight whiskey kind of girl and perhaps some fine wine every now and then, “Hm, I can’t remember the last time I had sake,” she muses while taking the glass from Theo.

Lex doesn’t read too much into his words. They quite literally could mean they killed her and that wouldn’t surprise Lex in the slightest. Melody isn’t her problem, so she doesn’t dwell, “The usual?” that’s all she gets? So basically, just beating people up then. Cool. Lex shrugs her shoulders in return, settling closer to Theo, “The usual – stealing stuff,” small stuff, big stuff, weird stuff. She just does as she’s told.

It makes her curious, “What kind of stuff do you cook?” she sips the sake, smacking her tongue against the roof of her mouth. The taste is not what she remembers but it also isn’t unpleasant. Just different.

She thinks for a moment, dark lips curling into a mischievous smile as she thinks back on her recent heists, “Yes,” The Mossdeep Space Center one was particularly noteworthy, probably one of her favorites to date, especially since Killian Decker worked closely with her on it as well. It’s rare she gets to talk about things so openly. In a room with just him, it’s a safe space. Still, her tone is hushed, “A meteorite. Not quite sure what its significance is but . . . Killian really wanted it,” and naturally, she’d do anything for that man.
