Damien was in a piss poor mood. He'd been in the middle of the biggest team fight of his life. He had just managed to gravity ult and pull in all 5 of the enemy team. In the last few moments he saw that he had managed to secure a team kill and then BAM! The internet went out. He had to resist the urge to break the keyboard as he sunk low in his chair. [break][break]

At first he thought it was just the internet café but when he checked his phone and noticed he couldn't even get a signal there he realized something must've been going on. With a sigh he made his way out of the cafe, after all there was nothing more left for him to do there. Once leaving he began to understand what the big deal was about. [break][break]

Polygon were everywhere and causing a mess. Damien's frown deepened as he slowly began to connect the dots. "So it's your fault." he growled, clearly still sulking. With a couple flashes of light beside him, Helios and Felix were released from their pokeballs. "Let's see if we can do something about this mess." he said with a firm nod at the two. [break][break]

Dashing off with his team something familiar caught his sight. A certain red head managed to grab his attention. Slowly to a halt she squinted off in the distance before his eyes widened. Was that...? "Yui!" he cupped his hands to his mouth to call out to her before jogging up towards the person who looked extremely familiar to him. Hoping and praying that he turned out to be right. It'd be embarrassing otherwise.

She had been investigating a recent outbreak of porygon running about and causing some havoc at a nearby internet cafe! She had seen some people tweeting near her and she had gone to go explore what was going on since she was in the area already. "Codey looks like we're gonna need your help." she told her porygon who was floating around behind her and bzzting all over the place. [break][break]

She heard a voice calling her name, she turned around and saw a familiar face. "Damien!" she said eagerly waving once she recognized who was approaching her suddenly. She was excited to see him, it had been years since she last saw him "Oh my god! I havent seen you in so long how are you?!" she asked eagerly as she was wondering how his life was doing since they last encountered one another.

"Damien!" she called out and waved enthusiastically. He released a sigh of relief once it was confirmed it really was Yui. It'd been years since he had last seen her. He certainly hadn't expected to run into her here of all places. "Oh my god! I haven't seen you in so long how are you?!" She asked as he approached. Damien reached out and pulled her into a tight hug before ruffling her hair. "I'm doing better now that you're here." he chuckled. [break][break]

"Look at you! You've grown up so much." After all when he left she was still a kid. He was too for that matter but he was old enough to handle things on his own somewhat. "What are you doing here? You gotta catch me up on everything." [break][break]

He continued, emerald orbs bright and clearly excited from seeing an old friend again. He completely forgot about the situation with the porygon, completely giving Yui his undivided attention.

She was still glad to see he was like a golden retriever in his demeanor, happy and cheery! Her hair was soon ruffled and all messed up cause of him "waitdamiENNO-" she shouted at him before getting him to let go. "Aw cmon! I spent so long getting it to sit right!" she said undoing her ponytail and holding the band in her mouth as she fixed it. She tried to speak with it still in her mouth. [break][break]

he then asked her what she was doing here "Oh I was in the area and online people had been posting about internet issues about some porygons causing trouble so I came to help." she said totally ignoring the fact that they were let out in the first place due to her own fault. She had overlooked a hole in the internet system...and well cue the name of the mission being data leak. [break][break]

She leaned in close after she was done fixing her hair "They got out from silph co so im trying to bring them back before FERNANDO SILPH or anyone else for that matter realizes they're missing." she says whispering in damien's ear.

Damien couldn't help but laugh harder at her protests. Old habits die hard, at least that what the old folks said. "Aw cmon! I spent so long getting it to sit right!" He raised his hands in surrender even if the smirk on his face said anything but that. "Right, sorry sorry." he added quickly not wanting to provoke Yui's ire even further. Especially not right after their reunion. [break][break]

While she attempted to fix her hair once more she remembered his questions and attempted to answer them. "Oh I was in the area and online people had been posting about internet issues about some porygons causing trouble so I came to help." That quickly brought Damien back to reality and his sour mood. "Ah right," he said with a frown as he glanced around them. [break][break]

"They got out from silph co so I'm trying to bring them back before FERNANDO SILPH or anyone else for that matter realizes they're missing." The mention of Fernando's name brought Damien back from his thoughts and plans on how to make the porygons pay for ruining his evening activities. "Ah, boss man's here too?" he said with a sheepish grin as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I haven't seen him in a while," he said as he stared up at the sky before an idea popped into his head. [break][break]

Bright emerald eyes quickly snapped to Yui as he placed his hands on both of his shoulders. "Think you can set some things up for me? I'd love to see everyone again!" He looked like an excited puppy begging for a treat the way his eyes sparkled as he pleaded for Yui's help. The way things were currently, he just felt too awkward going about things himself after being away for so long. He was sure he was just overcomplicating things, but if Yui was by his side helping him out, then he wouldn't have anything to be nervous about, right?[break][break]

"As payment and thanks for helping me out, I can offer my services in catching these porygon. C'mon, what do you say?" he said as he straightened up and offered her one of his signature crooked smiles. "You'd be really doing me a solid." he continued, "Besides, you know how capable I am when it counts." he added with a playful wink.

Yui put her hands together like a business man making a deal as she stared off to the air above her. "HmMmMmmMmMmM. I dont knowwww." she said teasing him as she knew she could probably milk more out of him if she tried, she didn't exactly recall how things between Damien and Fernando went down as she was still pretty young and at the time she was more interested in computers than she was people. [break][break]

"Ok. I'll try but knowing how busy he is lately it's gonna be a bit harder so you owe me." she said running her fingers through her ponytail and pulling it over her shoulder. It was then that 3 porygons appeared through yui's phone, each one in a different stage of evolution. "Huh?" she said looking to them, it wasn't normal for them to leave her phone without her orders but it seemed like they were panicked. Did they find them? OH FUCK WERE THOSE THE PORYGONS DAMIEN WAS CHASING BEFORE? DID SHE GET IN HIS WAY? [break][break]

"I think they got a lead! Let's go!" she told him, grabbing Damien by the hand and leading him off. Her porygons were quick on the trail of the porygon who got away, eventually cornering them in an alleyway. "YOU GUYS! COME BACK! Fern's gonna pop a gasket at me for this!"

"HmMmMmmMmMmM. I dont knowwww." Yui said as she clasped her hands together and hummed. Damien did his best to flash her the biggest and most sympathy earning puppy dog eyes he could manage. He'd be willing to do just about anything if it meant he could be in Silph's good graces again. Though, now that he thought about it, had he ever done anything to ever leave it? He wasn't sure, but he wasn't going to start groveling at Yui's feet just yet. [break][break]

"Ok. I'll try but knowing how busy he is lately it's gonna be a bit harder so you owe me." Damien practically perked up at her words. If he was a dog his tail would be wagging happily by now. He quickly pulled Yui into another tight embrace but resisted the urge to mess her hair up again. "Thank's Yui. You're the best!" [break][break]

Yui then got distracted by her phone which put a halt in their little conversation. Curious Damien waited for her to fill him in on what was going on. If she needed his help with something he wouldn't hesitate to offer a hand. "I think they got a lead! Let's go!" Yui said suddenly before she grabbed his hand and began dragging him behind her. "O-Okay..." Damien said as he stumbled after her for a moment before quickly regaining his balance and allowing her to lead the way. It must have to do with the porygon's that were loose. Eventually they ended up in an alleyway and had the runaway's cornered. "YOU GUYS! COME BACK! Fern's gonna pop a gasket at me for this!"[break][break]

Damien snickered at the thought of FERNANDO SILPH losing his shit if he found out. Meanwhile, Felix and Indi popped out from their pokeballs and stood on either side of Yui prepared to back her up should she need the assistance. Damien just relaxed behind her with an amused look on his face and his hands shoved deep in his pockets. They had this covered surely.
