A cold night. The moon illuminating the horizon with it's yellow glow. Apart from the wind which carried fallen leaves throughout the park, it was quiet - expected given the hour. Most trees were already bare, some however did have some leaves still clinging onto thin branches hesitant to fall.

Despite the weather, Asriel was wearing a short sleeved shirt and thin pants. Sitting on a park bench, a half empty bottle of vodka sitting within arms reach.

"It sure is cold" The words left his lips without much thought. His hand rubbing dreary eyes as his other reached for the bottle.

“Oh my god, def-in-ET-ly!” Elodie swore the stars looked more beautiful than ever tonight… as she smiled at the park lights. Beside her was another girl and the two used each other to stay upright. The two were trying to call over a taxi. “Now text me when you get home cutie or I’ll cut your tongue out,” Elodie giggled wildly as a taxi pulled up. The girl said something back but Elodie was already walking away.

She had gone drinking that night and ended up being absorbed into a random group of drunk girls. She had coral heels that made her feet ache terribly, a black crop top that really only covered her chest and a flexible miniskirt that stretched a little far with each step.

Elodie did not notice the man on the bench as she plopped herself down and began clawing at her heel straps to get them off. While looking at her feet she noticed the other pair of shoes next to her and she glanced upward.

“Oh, in public?” Her lips twisted into a smile when she saw the vodka bottle. “Could I have a sip?” She straightened herself up and used her toes to kick the heels the rest of the way off, waiting expectantly.

He notices the woman. Clumsily walking in his direction, the only thought that crosses Asriel’s mind was how easy it would be to take advantage of her. A young and careless woman who he had no doubt would find herself in trouble very easily. Scoffing to himself Asriel glances away, only to be surprised discovering that the same woman he scoffed at plopped herself down next to him.

Gazing at her unbothered, he remains relatively silent - her words and sound of voice irritating him in a sense. When she mentions the vodka a small crooked smile appears on his face. Grabbing the bottle he extends out his arm as if offering it to her, in a split second the hand pulls back. Chugging down the vodka within a eye blink.

“Sorry.” He speaks with a laugh, tossing the empty bottle aside - glass shattering onto the ground.

Elodie watched the guy down the drink rather than share a bit with her. Fine, that was just fine by her. The throwing of the bottle was a tad dramatic though in her opinion. The crashing sound of glass on a public park walkway made her nose wrinkle for a moment. She took a small breath, telling her mind to zen out and not go crazy over the littering.

“Tch,” Elodie scoffed at the stranger, ramming her barefoot into the side of their leg in frustration. It was clear enough that the girl didn’t need any more drunken fuel for tonight. “Jerk,” She muttered while looking around the park, it was empty. Jetting her lip out into a pout she realized her fun night out would soon be coming to a close and morning would come to torment her eventually.

“SoOoo. What’re you doing, just, brooding on a bench drunk?” She leaned against the back of the bench, head cocked in his direction curiously.

The reaction was what he expected, he merely chuckled with her speculation that he was drunk. "What makes you think I'm drunk?" Voice smug, eyebrows raise as he stares at Elodie coldly. He is uncaring to the broken glass, fully aware that it could cause a serious injury if it wasn't taken care of.

"What brings you out here..." A wicked expression briefly comes across his face, but vanishes within another instant. "alone?" was she not aware of the danger which looms at night?
