[attr="class","alex"] pokemon tag @tag words 409 notes oh hella! Not part-Flying, but part of the wishlist! | He thought he heard the sounds of squabbling not too far ahead. Wondering if he was alone, he then proceeded as quietly as he could, watching his step just in case he’d accidentally trip over something and give away his position.
Reaching a rock large enough to hide his ridiculously tall frame, he then crouched down and peeked around the corner of his hiding spot…
…and was surprised to see that the arguing noises were coming from something he quickly identified to be a Zweilous; its two heads arguing with one another over some fresh kill that they’d just acquired. Biting his lip, he then pondered on surprising the dual-type, but instead decided to actually try another tactic.
Popping a Pokéball open, he then saw the little Cutiefly emerge, who immediately made a beeline for his nose. “Shh, Carina! Can you try to catch them by surprise? They won’t be able to hurt you. You’re so small they’ll almost never see you, you know?” he said quietly, hearing a little buzzing noise in reply.
“Just use your Fairy Wind, they won’t know what hit them,” he added a few moments later before hearing an affirmative hum and flitting out, a tiny speck against the large draconid.
The arguing sounds began again as both heads continued their argument, unable to make up their mind on who would get the bigger piece of meat. Due to them being so preoccupied, they didn’t notice that the near-invisible Cutiefly had brought down a succession of Fairy Winds around them, tiny little presence humming just out of reach of the two squabbling dragon heads.
It didn’t take too long before the blind dragon roared in pain at the effectiveness of the Fairy-type attack hitting it, buffeting it from seemingly so many sides at once—where the hell was it coming from?! An attempt at Dragon Breath came screaming in the Cutiefly’s face—and for a few moments the little dual-type panicked. But for some reason the attack didn’t hurt…
Pleased that the Dragon-type’s attack was absolutely useless, more Fairy Winds came gusting through the area, making the Dragon-type scream before eventually folding under the super effective attack. A last shriek of dismay cued Alexei in that the Zweilous had fainted, and he came out of hiding.
Popping a vacant Pokéball to full size, he then dropped it on one of the two heads, watching as it was sucked into the beam of red light…
