It seems that Lady Luck wasn’t with her today in her venture into the safari zone. Green orbs flickered to the litwick, partly pouting that it wasn’t shiny. At least, she would finally have one. This was one of the two she was missing. And honestly, she didn’t feel like trying her luck again.

Reaching into her pocket, the woman pulled out the safari ball. Her eye on the prize, the woman launched the ball into the air at the litwick. The ball hit its mark, sucking the creature in without much effect and locking behind it. It fell to the ground with a thud, wiggling until the dead was done.

Another sigh escaped her, plucking the ball of the ground. She was really hoping for a shiny litwick. Well.. two more safari ball left.

Venturing further into the safari zone, her green orbs flickered to the bold numbers flashing on her smart watch. A frown formed, really not liking these new rules the safari warden had put into effect this month. Time was more restricted, pokemon more limited. It seemed the safari zone needed more money to fund this gorgeous place. She wondered if others would waste their money more or less now. Honestly, the trainer would if she had the money.

With time running tight, the woman couldn’t afford to play around like she use too. So when the wild cubone jumped out from the tall grass, Genesis only scoffed at it. Wasn’t shiny, she didn’t want it. Turning her back to the creature, the raven haired woman continued her search else were. Two safari balls still burned in her packet, ready to be used before the time was up.

In not time at all, the raven haired woman came across yet another pokemon in the safari zone. Go figure. The little gremlin looking thing snicker, slim frame moved strangely to her. And honestly, there was something she liked about the creepy thing.

Reaching into her pocket, the woman tossed the safari ball at the dark and fairy it. It’s head titled to one side, accepting the ball smacking its forehead before being sucked in. Once close, the ball fell to the earth with a light thud. It wiggled for a little bit. Genesis let out a huff, plucking the ball off the ground. Hopefully, this pokemon is better than what her first impression are.

With just one safari ball remaining after the successful capture of the little gremlin looking pokemon, the raven haired woman continued to venture deeper into the safari zone. Genesis already knew what her last ball was going to be for. The only challenge was, to find it. Her gaze flickered over the vast open ground of the wilderness, spotting what appeared to be a cave in the distance. Bats like caves, right?

Shrugging her shoulders at her thought process, the woman pressed on towards the dark looking cave in hopes to find her final pokemon before the time was up. A wild drowzee did popped out from the tall grass to her left, but was completely ignored by the trainer as she kept her eyes on her next destination. The wild pokemon only observed the human strolling right pass them.

At the site of the water and bug type that popped out from a near by pond, the woman only cringed her nose. It wasn’t only ugly, she found it useless tool in her eyes. Genesis turned her head in distaste, ignoring the wild creature to pursuit the bat that was in the cave. There had to be. Where else would the bat be?

Upon coming up on the cave entrance, a squeaking noise was hear. Although the raven haired woman didn’t know exactly what sound the noibats made, it had to be similar to that. Grinning, the woman ventured further into the cave. Soon, light became in issue. She growl to herself, but then remembered she had recently caught an umbreon who could provide light with its rings.

Reaching into her pocket, she summoned the dark type. The brilliant light from the realize made whatever was inside the cave frantic. The umbreon’s rings emitted just enough light for the trainer to spot a bat like shadow a few feet away. Not wanting for it to escape, the woman plucked the last safari ball from her pocket and gave the ball a good toss at the bat like shadow. The ball hit the mark, sucking the creature in without much trouble.

The woman grinned, watching the ball fall to the earth with a soft thud before it rolled to her feet. But a thought just occurred to her, what if the bat figure was a Crobat and the safari personal just didn’t do a good job clearing the safari zone. Shit.
