He’d worked a couple of shifts here, on loan. Not enough to consider it a regular gig, but enough that he knew what the security was like. Incredibly weak. The perfect place for a little pokemon nabbing heist. He’d suggested it, and after a little bureaucratic back and forth, he’d gotten his brief AND his partner. It’s late, and the sky was overcast offering little light from the moon. They’d move in the darkness, and break in. [break][break]

A B&E. Just a quick, in and out, B&E. Even so, Mint had put on the make up and the wig just in case. JUST IN CASE someone saw them. At this point perhaps it was simply easier to get a mask to cover up but…well he then he’d miss out on practicing with his disguise kit. Anyway, the more you did something, the easier wit got. That was true for makeup…as well as crime. Crimes like breaking and entering. He’s stalling, nervous about using the lockpick on the door. “Ugh, why dind’t I just get a key first…” he grumbled, half talking to Bryan, half looking at him pathetically for help.

[attr="class","bryanbody"]Well this was certainly a unique situation, Bryan was assigned to work with someone he hadn't really met before. Mint frost was it? Bryan had worn his usual rocket outfit, an all black skin tight suit with his bow and arrow. He also wore his mask that was a mixture of a wolf and lamb mask with a clear divide between the two with a white and black side. [break][break]

He stayed silent for the most part until Mint looked like he needed help with the door. "Don't worry. I have a back up plan." he says as he whips out a keyring from his belt. Yet this was no ordinary keyring, it was a klefki! "Alright klefki, fairy lock." he says as Klefki used it's prankster ability and the move to unlock the door to the daycare. [break][break]

It worked like a charm, the door slid open for Mint as Bryan took the lead and entered the building, trying to stay hidden in the shadows as the lights were off on closed hours. He nodded his head for Mint to enter and check the other corner. From the way he moved, mint could probably tell Bryan had done this a thousand times as his movements were precise and quiet.

His partner was far more professional than he was, and he wondered if maybe he had chosen the wrong outfit. Not that there was much time to dwell on that as the man set to work. Bryan moved quickly, without error or nervous energy unlike Mint. His teeth were beginning to chatter, and it wasn’t from the cold. His armpits itched, and he felt a cold drop of sweat roll down his spine. He dind’t get why he was so anxious when he worked here. He knew no one was around, and they didn’t really have cameras to keep watch on the baby pokemon. He backed up a little to let the pair work, watching in awe as the door unlocked and they stepped in. [break][break]

Bryan’s steps were so silent, even when muffled by the small carpet that served as a welcome mat from the outside. Well, at least they hadn’t had to use blunt force to get in. He reached into his pocket and put on the glasses Lulu Flint had given him before swapping the thin lenses to night vision. No need to bump into any furniture in the middle of a heist. “The incubation room is deeper, down the hall.” He murmured stopping near Bryan so his partner could hear him. [break][break]

“There should be a couple of marks on some of the shells.” He’d just have to use a black light to find them. “The pokemon overnight are doped up, they won’t wake up either.” He added. Just a little permission gassing. No big deal. The eggs were ready for the taking, much easier to deal with than actual pokemon. They’d move those first and transport through the sewers as usual.

"Doped up? Did...Did you drug them yourself??" he asked curiously wondering what exactly mint meant by that. He was thinking that either the stars aligned and mint was a crafty little bastard and managed to do something before this which would have been amazing. Or this daycare was drugging babies to make them easier to handle. [break][break]

"Where the hell did you get all that special equipment?" was he getting juked by the support team? The most he got was a dusty ass old composite bow he had to fix himself. Whatever, no point in crying over spilt milk. Bryan tried to move silently down the hall towards where Mint had pointed him towards as he silently moved over towards that direction going deeper into the building. [break][break]

He managed to enter the room where the eggs were kept but didn't see any marks on them "Where are the marks?" he says confused as he tries to check each one since he doesn't have a black light on him.

The grunt nodded at his companion before remembering it was pretty dark. “Yeah…just a little. We give them sedatives if they can’t sleep or are in pain for whatever reason. Occasionally it’s an overly aggressive pokemon so.” He trailed off and shrugged. “Either way its easy to cover up.” He looked over at his companion and gave him a cheeky grin. “I’m just really good at making friends is all~” he said with little laugh before adding. “I wanted to borrow some stuff that would…um…would make spying easier so I asked Dr. Flint for some help. Eris Halla mentioned she was pretty nice so I went to find her.” He explained. [break][break]

As the turned into the baby room, Mint avoided turning the lights on. “You should have one?” he said to thetaller Rocket before checking his pockets. Wait- Wait wait wait! “Oh whoops! I have them, haha.” He said passing over what appeared to be something resembling a glowstick but with a switch on it. Mint fiddled with the hard plastic, clicking his on and watching a bright purple light exude out of the stick. “This should make it easier. I’ll go try to find a cart, but there aren’t that many we need to worry about.” Most of the eggs they were taking were extras from trainers who had forgotten to pick them up or simply had been away for an extended period of time. They couldn’t exactly toss or donate them until the trainer came back so…they just kind of sat in stasis. [break][break]

Perfect for Rocket to pick up, and it wouldn’t make much of a different to the daycare. Not enough to kick up a fuss and tighten up security, not that they had much to begin with. The place didn’t even come with security cameras. Just locked doors and an occasionally security system.

"They'll take them for us." he says as they seemed to be almost done here as the cutieflies being instructed by ribombee began to traverse the vents. [break][break]

Mint is visibly confused but intrigued at Bryan stopped him. He hovered near the taller rocket waiting for whatever it was Bryan was waiting for. As the swarm of cutieflies and ribombees come out, Mint covered his mouth to stop a squeal from leaving his throat. “This is way easier than I thought it’d be.” He said glancing over at the other. “Are they all yours or just Rocket’s?” the grunt continued as one by one the room filled with the bug pokemon and they began attaching themselves to the forgotten eggs. [break][break]

“Looking forward to not doing this inventory check.” He whispered to his partner with a small laugh. Mint Front was on vacation for the week and wouldn’t be back until this Friday. But he doubted it’d mean much. After all, none of these eggs had ever been picked up. The place had left them unhatched, unable and unwilling to take on more pokemon they couldn’t even give away or release. Too much in resources for a small place like this. [break][break]

“We’re way ahead of schedule now, actually. Wanna get something to eat after we head back in?” he asked as he watched Cutiefly and Rimbobee lit around hefting eggs back and forth like an assembly line.

"Mine." he answers mint, "Fairy types like me. For whatever reason." it was useful, he didn't enjoy it all the time since they had a penchant for mischief. [break][break]

Bryan waved his hand after Mint mentioned keeping track of the eggs and reporting inventory. "Eh, sucks for the poor sap who's gonna do it. Cause it's not gonna be me." he grinned evilly as he was going to dump it on some other poor fool who was scared of him. "We did the work. Let someone else handle that shit, you only get what you ask or demand for in rocket." he tells him. [break][break]

"Are you gonna pay for the food?" he asked suspiciously as he was testing something from mint, he was curious about what his answer would be.

Mint stared at Bryan, before giving him a very obvious once over. “Is…Is this the legendary….gap moe?” he gasped. He never would’ve thought Bryan was a fairy specialist, but it wasn’t weird. Just kind of odd, in a cute way. He nodded along with Bryan as he watched the last of the fairy types float away with the stolen eggs. “You have a point. The mission did only request acquisition.” He said, tossing out vocabulary words form the briefing. [break][break]

He’d been about to do it too, eager to keep a good relationship with whatever staff was handling his mission. But…if he didn’t show up when, he wouldn’t get tasked out right? Besides Bryan was right. Even if the work had been made a lot easier by his expertise. He looked up at his partner once more before grinning. “Sure. You just buy next time~” he said with a shrug. He’d invited him after all, he’d pay if he wanted him to. He didn’t think anything of it, merely checking the egg incubators for any leftovers before giving the other Rocket a thumbs up. “Let’s head out, change, and mosey then. It’s 24 hours, so we don’t have to worry about closing." [break][break]

As he made his way out, he asked, genuinely curious, “How many times have you done something like this before?”
