Gabby hums happily while walking alongside of her father. The invitation to go to the beach was unexpected, but she gladly accepted it. She felt that she never got enough time with her father, but she understood he was a busy man. He had a large family to take care of along with a successful business.

Even though she was sad that she couldn't spend much time with him, she decided it would be a lot better to cherish those moments where he was able to spend time with her. They didn't exchange much words during their walk, but Gabby still smiled - delighted to be here with her father. "There sure are a lot of people!" She exclaims a little bewildered, a soft laugh escaping her.

Gabrielle observed the large crowd, she saw some people lining up at a vendor. The wind drafting over the smell towards her and it made her feel even more hungry. Just as she was about to ask if they could get one, her father spoke up.

"Yes!!" Gabrielle exclaimed excitedly, her small hand grabbing onto her fathers. Her eyes shining with excitement that he also had wanted one.

Despite the large line, it wasn't a long wait. Truthfully she was surprised with how quick the return was. "Oh wow!" She exclaims - the meat sticks looked more amazing than imagined. Hands clasp together out of eagerness "Thank you very much father!" Gabrielle giggles lightly taking the hunky meat stick from her father and quickly taking a large bite from it.

Her face lights up immediately a large delighted smile forming. "It is sooooo yummy!!" She states happily taking another bite. "Don't you think so Father?" She asks munching away.

Gabrielle was glad that her father had agreed with her. "Lets eat it when we come back again next time!" she states chipperly. Taking a few more bites happy squeals escape her as with each munch the taste only improved.

"Oh but next time we should invite everyone else!!" Gabrielle quickly states, picturing the entire Black family on an outing. Hard to imagine, but it was a dream she hoped to fulfill one day. A final bite and she finishes the meat stick, "Thanks for the meal!" Gabrielle expresses her gratitude another time, taking a moment to think about what to do next.

Looking past the dozens of stalls, the open ocean called out to her.

"Can we go swimming?"

Gabby nods and returns the smile, even she knew it would be difficult to get everyone to go on a trip together. However her fathers reassurance made it feel like that one day - maybe it will happen.

Gabby nods once again, the question wasn't surprising since she didn't go swimming in Sinnoh. "Yep! Friends been teaching me how to surf too." She states proudly, her excitement building when her father eventually agrees on swimming.

"Awesome! I brought mine too, just in case!" Gabby giggles happily, her steady walk transitioning into an upbeat skip. Reaching the end of the boardwalk she waits for father to catch up, and when he does she points at the changing stall.

"I'mma change real quick ok, Dad?!" She shouts not waiting for a response, dashing across warm sand and into the changing room.

It only took Gabrielle a few minutes to change. Her swimsuit was plain, a simple blue one piece that she bought from the department store that was nearby their house. Still, Gabby enjoyed how it looked on her feeling that the blue complimented her eyes and hair rather nicely.

She exits the changing stall, and quickly takes notice of her father. Her father was always one to stick out of a crowd: the noticeable scar, height, and distinctive looks. His 'flavor town' swim-trunks made him even more eye-catching. She picked up on the pointing and the snickering of people who walked past them, but her father stood tall and proud - not bothered or phased in the slighted.

That was what she admired the most about her father.

Stepping down the boardwalk her toes touch the crisp sand, warm from the suns rays. Her hand extends out to her father - waiting for his caring grasp.

"Let's go Dad!" She smiles.

"Okay." She agrees beginning to trek down towards the waves. Toes tingling from the soft sand beneath her. Her head turns with the mention of sunscreen. "Oh!" She states suddenly an absentminded look twisting onto her features. "Yes, I do. Thanks for bringing some!"

Leave it to the grown ups to remember the important stuff.

Being close enough to the water now, a salty breeze drifts her her back. Her eyes close to it for a moment.

A hand digs for a pokeball. releasing her spheal, berry. The pokemon is delighted to be in a favorable environment, quick to roll around in the sand before rolling off into the open sea. That's Berry, cute right?" Gabby questions with soft laughter, her other hand reaches out

"Sunscreen please!"

"Yeah, alright dad!" Gabby responds back hastily applying the sunscreen to the mentioned locations. She quickly waves at her fathers pryoars when he summons them - happy to see them out and about even if all they were doing was napping. She enters the ocean in a rush, water splashing all around her even unintentionally splashing her father.

Berry meets her, chirping happily as the two splash each other carefree. She turns back to look at her father, a hand waves eagerly. "Hey dad, watch us!"

With that, the two dive into the clear waters and they resurface over dramatically. Splashing even more water around them.
