The mist swirls around her, changing the surroundings once again. This time Uriah was missing, not a trace of him being in the museum in the first place. Gabrielle’s tears stop, a hand wipes away the tears and snot. She comes to a realization that this must have been an effect of the ‘mist’ those other people had spoken about. It was clear why they wanted to avoid it at all cost, the effects were horrible.

It was hard to imagine what the others had seen when they first inhaled the mist.

Suddenly the pain from her frost-bite intensifies. Immense pain travels all the way up her arm, as a result she falls face first onto the ground. She could hear the nearby battle but the pain was to great, she found it was difficult to get back up.

She counted on the others to take down whatever they were facing.

There is no escaping the chaos. Sticking close to wolfgang volkov the pair enter the staircase connecting the first two floors. There they have an unexpected reunion with the rest of the group Yvaine Varron and Locke Jamison. There were others as well - a group of people disguised in black uniforms blocking the staircase, and another trio. Gwyar Wledig Hideo Kino Arashi Akiyama She sticks close to the group, eyeing the other men cautiously. She didn’t know what their intentions were, but her gut feeling was that they were not to be trusted.

A sudden battle breaks out when an unown from the disguised men’s group attacks the curator and her meloetta. The pair burst into song and it causes the ground below them to shake tremendously, creating cracks among the walls and ground. Momentarily she’s glad that they were between the first two floors, and not higher up. The feeling doesn’t last for long however, as a strange purple mist seeps from the cracks slowly beginning to engulf them.

The reaction of Hideo Kino and Arashi Akiyama is enough for Gabrielle to know that it was bad news - even though she’s never experienced the effects before. She also flees to avoid the mist, but it’s futile as it had already been inhaled. She does not realize that she’s under the effects of the dream mist as everything appears to be normal, apart from the increasingly low visibility.

Her heat beat spikes as she stumbles about, just when she’s about to call out to the other’s she hears a familiar voice.

URIAH BLACK’s voice.


She turns her head towards the direction of his voice. Her heart calming down when she spots him, “Uriah! I’m so happy to see you.” She smiles the fear completely vanishing with her older brothers appearance. She figured that he was here to fix the situation.

His hand rubs her hair, it’s warm and gentle. Giving her the comfort she needed in this hectic situation.

“You’ll be okay Gab’s, go ahead and head down. It’s safe.” Gabrielle nods with a soft smile. She heads towards the stairs, but momentarily looks back. Her eyes filled with terror at the scene.

A knife stuck in his chest. Blood seeping from the wound.

Tears pour down her face as she screams desperately

“URIAH!!!!!!”

TL;DR: Meets up with everyone from both groups at the staircase.
Unsure about the disguised men.
She tries to flee from the mist but is already under it’s affects. Doesn’t know what it does and is unaware that she’s in a ‘dream’
In her dream, Uriah comes to the museum as a first responder.
Ends up getting killed by an assassin, (gabby believes it’s real)

Gabrielle wasn’t the greatest at studying, it never interested her. However participating in learning more about an unknown species, that was pretty exciting! Yeah, their pretty strange! I’ve never seen anything like them.” They looked like ordinary flowers to her, but there was one thing that set them apart from other flowers - they could glow. A phenomenon she’s never witnessed before.

She doesn’t expect the sudden invitation to help her study the plants. Gabby’s heart skips a beat, as the excitement inside her grows. She nods excitedly, “I would love to! How can I help?” She looks back towards Illeana her eyes sparkling eagerly.

“Oh I never introduced myself either, my name is Gabrielle!”

“That’s true.” Certainly the glowing flowers would make a more memorable photo, so she understood his reasoning. Still, she didn’t want to take just one photo, Gabby wanted to take plenty - it’s been years since they last saw each other. But we can take lot’s! I haven’t seen you for so long, I’m so happy to see you again Adrial!” She speaks sincerely, her face starting to feel warmer as it manifests a red blush.

She begins to feel a little flustered from the sudden confession, her blush becoming even brighter. And without both of their knowledge Gabrielle’s rotomphone snaps a photo of them right there in the moment. The bright flash was what gave it away.

Gabby gasps faintly, a chuckle breaking away from her lips. “Hey Rotom! We weren’t ready for the photo quite yet!” She scolds it lightly. Glancing back at her older brother afterwards with a smile. She moves closer to Adrial, close enough to wrap both arms around his waist to embrace him.

If it wasn’t perfect timing, the crystablooms among the trees begin to emit a very soft glow, and a light wind causes it’s petals to drift down from the trees.

“Now Rotom! Take the picture!” she smiles happily.

Skyler’s expression goes by unnoticed, and the smile remains. As the captain explains her relationship with the gym leader. She breaks out into amused laughter as she speaks. “Sounds like a great friend, I’m even more eager to meet him. ” She also wanted to learn the story of how she almost killed him a couple times, but that would have to be another day.

“Oh um, nope!” Gabrielle responds to the question, slightly embarrassed that she didn’t know anything. As she figured that trainers should have some idea about the gym leaders, but she didn’t. The conversation is cut short, as Skyler suggests they begin to run. “Sounds good to me!” Her response was quick and Gabby’s steady pace changes to a speedy jog and the pair raced past the colorful flower field.

Soon enough they would pass, and make it to the exit of the forest.

Gabby places her hands atop of her head and takes a moment to catch her breath. She then turns to face Skyler, a relieved smile making it’s way onto her lips.

“Looks like we finally made it out!”

Her hand then extends towards the captain in preparation to say goodbye.

Out of all people she expected to see, the curator was last among the list of people. There isn't enough time for questions as the woman seemed desperate to flee the scene. Afraid that whoever 'they' referred to would find out about her actions. Before she could chase after the person in question, the pain started to intensify.

As she closes her eyes to endure the pain, the room once again shifts around them. Unaware of the nausea that effected the others, she opens her eyes again to a new room - presuming that it was one of the lower levels of the museum.

Noticing that Locke Jamison and Yvaine Varron chases after the curator, she's worried about them but she didn't have much thought of chasing after them herself, she personally wanted to get out of here. Get her hand treated as Yvaine Varron suggested.

Realizing that she's alone with wolfgang volkov she wonders what course of action he would take, deciding it would be best to stick with the man.

"W-we should probably leave!" She suggests the idea over the sounds of fleeing and panicked people as she notices that the museum starts to shake around them.

The captain certainly had a great sense of humor. She grins and shakes her head "Don't mention it, I'm happy to have met you in this murderous forest." Gabby chuckles lightheartedly, nodding when Skyler said that it'll be fine to go the usual way. Skyler's loud sneeze even surprises Gabby, she's never heard a sneeze that loud before - it was.. kinda impressive.

The reaction slightly confuses her, but Gabby realizes that Greyson must of been a friend of some kind. Watching her describe the man was amusing, Gabby's never met him so has no idea what he looks like in the slightest.

Yes, Greyson of Fallarbor! Are you friends? Gabby nods, smiling at her other question.
"I am! It's going to be my first gym challenge!" Her face beams with excitement.

As they get nearer to the flower field, even Gabby sneezes a little.

She was at the steps of the first gym challenge she would do. She felt unreal, nervous, anxious, excited basically all kinds of emotions. Gabby takes a deep breath before entering the establishment, reminiscing all the training the team went through for this exact moment.

Win or lose, she knows that it will not go to waste as long as they gave their best effort.

She now enters, and is surprised with the size of the facility. Gyms were a lot bigger than she thought.

Heading towards the front counter, Gabby politely coughs to get the attendant's attention.

"Hellooo, name's Gabrielle Black. I'm here for a gym challenge!" She grins excitedly

As they entered the second challenge, Gabby smiled immediately at the sight of the vast pool. The atmosphere of the pool makes Gabby want to go for a swim herself but that's not what they are here for.

Her attention is drawn towards the other woman who waves her hand, listening to her explain the legends that existed in hoenn and how natural energy was everywhere in the earth. Most of it she didn't understand but Gabby nodded her head, pretending to.

She looked towards the Relicanth in the swimming pool, a grin forming when the woman explained the task. She had the perfect pokemon for this challenge. Sending out her pokeball her spheal makes an appearance round eyes eager to find that she was besides a pool.

"No time for playing Berry, quick dive after the relicanth!"Her spheal is confused by what her trainer means but soon as she noticed the other water type diving in the water, Berry quickly follows suit. Jumping into the pool and diving after it.

She realizes that Dragon pokemon are in their own category when it comes to training. No doubt that this will be a difficult task but one she is determined to overcome.

Gabby throws a pokeball, and her spheal Berry appears from it. At first Berry seemed afraid of the mighty dragon, which was no surprise. "We got this berry!" Gabby encouraged her partner with confidence before focusing on the salamence.

Hopefully the type advantage would prove to be enough.

"Sheer cold!"

A gust of cold air is directed towards the salamence, it's a direct hit but overall the dragon-type doesn't seemed fazed switching to the offensive. Rushing forward and biting the spheal relentlessly.

Distressed by her spheal's squeals of agony, she comes up with a last ditch strategy.

"Quick Berry, use blizzard!" Understanding her trainer's thinking Berry summons a powerful blizzard, using every ounce of her strength. The cold is extreme and ends up freezing the salamence, Gabby saw it as an opportunity.

"Now Surf!" The water move completely engulfs the dragon type leaving it in a weakened state.

This was her chance.

"Go pokeball!" She shouts throwing a pokeball at the dragon.

The lycanroc frighten with Uriah's fierce leadership with his machamp. Easily taking care of some underlings, only leaving a few more left to deal with.

Gabrielle feels inspired while battling alongside her brother, and also summons her pokemon. "Pawz, use take down!" The litleo charges forward tackling a lycanroc that ends up fleeing in fear.

All that was left was the alpha male.

"Sounds good to me!" Pulling out her phone Gabrielle captures a photo of the phenomenon, figuring that the league will take care of the rest. It was cool that she got to see such a perfect circle though.

As they land she smiles towards Danny.

"It was nice meeting you guys! see you around!" Gabrielle gives a departing wave to Danny as she makes her exit.
