She fell asleep once all the gifts had been wrapped up and placed under the brightly lit Christmas tree. She was confident with the gifts that were picked out, it was all thanks to her aunt Spencer Hale. By the time Gabby had woken up, it was past noon and most of her siblings were not in the house.

She went downstairs to look at their grand tree, only to be surprised. the gifts were gone, in fact the entire area by the tree was a complete mess - how was this possible?? Did they get robbed? She didn't even hear anyone..

In a panic she dashed back upstairs knocking on her brother Finley Black's door, hoping that he was still home.

"Hey finn? are you here we have a situation! "

Finley Black

"Yeah, alright dad!" Gabby responds back hastily applying the sunscreen to the mentioned locations. She quickly waves at her fathers pryoars when he summons them - happy to see them out and about even if all they were doing was napping. She enters the ocean in a rush, water splashing all around her even unintentionally splashing her father.

Berry meets her, chirping happily as the two splash each other carefree. She turns back to look at her father, a hand waves eagerly. "Hey dad, watch us!"

With that, the two dive into the clear waters and they resurface over dramatically. Splashing even more water around them.

The hug feels like any other normal hug, and Gabby was rather oblivious to her aunt's discomfort. "Aunty you give the best hugs." She states with flushed cheeks, desiring another squeeze but departs from Spencers warm arms, satisfied. The reaction from Spencer was unexpected, it felt cold and suspecting. A small panic bubbled inside her.

Gabby laughs unintentionally, nervously. "N-no!.. Maybe? I just wanted to know if..." She stammers, words trailing as she struggles to finish her sentence, now unsure what she wanted to ask.

"um.. nevermind." She laughs, a hand rubbing against warm pinked skin - hoping that Spencer would leave the subject.

All Gabby wanted was for her aunt to be happy, she deserved it.

"Let's get going! Tons of gifts to purchase today!"

"Okay." She agrees beginning to trek down towards the waves. Toes tingling from the soft sand beneath her. Her head turns with the mention of sunscreen. "Oh!" She states suddenly an absentminded look twisting onto her features. "Yes, I do. Thanks for bringing some!"

Leave it to the grown ups to remember the important stuff.

Being close enough to the water now, a salty breeze drifts her her back. Her eyes close to it for a moment.

A hand digs for a pokeball. releasing her spheal, berry. The pokemon is delighted to be in a favorable environment, quick to roll around in the sand before rolling off into the open sea. That's Berry, cute right?" Gabby questions with soft laughter, her other hand reaches out

"Sunscreen please!"

The skunktank's tail lashes out in retaliation the firefang's damage being mitigated. Snarling fiercely, the skunktanks claws lash out - pouncing on the small firetype with it's long and sharp claws. A relentless fury swipe attack Is unleashed onto the litleo. A panic stirs inside her as she reaches for the next pokeball.

She wasn't going to give up, Uri's cheers encouraged her even further.

"Pawz, get some rest." A beam of light flashes as the fire type is confined to the safety of her pokeball. And the next one is quickly sent out - a swoobat manifesting.

Gabby figured that the skunktank would be weak to attacks in the air.

"Echo, Air Slash!" Obeying her trainer, the swoobat conjures a powerful gust of wind, aimed at the skunktank. The move proved to be effective, and Gabby saw her chance. Clutching a pokeball, she hopes that it would be enough to ensure capture.

Taking as an open

Hearing of the ongoing events that were occurring at the local wheat field, Gabby impulsively decided that she will go to try and help. She figured that the situation couldn't be that extreme, if it was they would send in the professionals to handle it. Such as the head rangers or elite four.. something between that.

She saw it as her next step, an opportunity to step outside her comfort zone. There is no growth without a lesson. Luckily the field wasn't far, a normal distanced walk. Her swoobat echo flew besides her as they journeyed to the field, and they arrived in no time.

It looked to be an ordinary field, however Gabby found it strange how quiet it was. Feeling Echo's uncertain gaze, she feigns a smile. "It'll be okay, we'll leave if it's more then we can handle." She reassures her swoobat, glancing around again to scan the surroundings.

"Well, time to start our investigation!" Gabby states cheerfully and begins to head down the path, a little alarmed at how tall the wheat was - it made keeping an eye out challenging but not impossible.

It only took Gabrielle a few minutes to change. Her swimsuit was plain, a simple blue one piece that she bought from the department store that was nearby their house. Still, Gabby enjoyed how it looked on her feeling that the blue complimented her eyes and hair rather nicely.

She exits the changing stall, and quickly takes notice of her father. Her father was always one to stick out of a crowd: the noticeable scar, height, and distinctive looks. His 'flavor town' swim-trunks made him even more eye-catching. She picked up on the pointing and the snickering of people who walked past them, but her father stood tall and proud - not bothered or phased in the slighted.

That was what she admired the most about her father.

Stepping down the boardwalk her toes touch the crisp sand, warm from the suns rays. Her hand extends out to her father - waiting for his caring grasp.

"Let's go Dad!" She smiles.

GABRIEL BLACK

She's somewhat startled when the pokeball clicks shut - indicating the successful capture. Her last attempts of trying to catch pokemon did not go this smoothly. Brown gaze traveled towards Pawz, the small fire type also seemed to be surprised but didn't express much care. Perhaps it was luck? or proof that their teamwork had been improving due to their training.

A feeling of accomplishment blooms inside her chest, it intensifies with her brothers praise. "haha.. thank you!" Gabrielle responds a little louder than intended, her cheeks warm with a blush. Wanting to say more Gabby was cut off when Uri had to deal with his own wild encounter, a thievul.

She watches silently, eyes filled with curiosity on how he and rich would handle such the tricky pokemon. His plan was different than what she expected, and Gabby laughs unintentionally when Uri expressed his sudden disgust. "That was Awesome Uri, Rich!" A large grin forms on her lips.

Since the encounters were out of their way, Gabby walked forward to retrieve the pokeball which contained her newly caught sandslash. She stares at the device momentarily before pocketing it.

She spotted another pokemon lurking about in her peripheral, her head turns and gaze settles on the skunktank who had just crept from it's burrow. It's eyes glinted with mischief and trouble - Gabby could tell this one would be a little more tricky. Not wasting any more time she directs Pawz to attack, "Pawz's quickly! Firefang!" The litleo lept into action, fangs catching on fire as it attacked the skunktank.

Of course she would notice, Spencer was an observant woman. Often spotting out details that her parents often missed.
A coy smile appears, and Gabby's face warms with a soft blush. "I guess I did" She says soft laughter following her words.

"But it's so great to see you Aunty!" She states vibrantly, her arms extend out towards her for a hug.
"So doing any other shopping besides for family?" Her question was laced with innocent curiosity.

It wasn't often that Gabby got to spend time with her youngest brother, Sirius. Outside the house at least. He preferred to stay home, which she respected but on a whim she asked him if he wanted to go catch pokemon together - she was surprised but delighted that he agreed.

Walking along side the route path she glanced back at her brother. "Siri want to make it a contest to see who can catch the most?"
