Remi's eyes narrow as she watches him, expecting a lie. But he seems.. honest, if snarky. She can see the heat behind his eyes even if it fades quickly. It leaves her wanting, honestly.

"Huh. A buzzkill, I see."

But he asks her a second time to get out of the vehicle, as nicely as he can, and she obliges. The hand once pressed to his thigh lifts and pulls away, leaving with her as she steps outside. The fresh air is cool against her warming cheeks, and she immediately feels the urge to curb the cold air in her throat with smoke.
