He was back at it again, feeling a little bit more confident than before. Safari balls ready, and head on a swivel, Lana is stumbling through the dark and tall grass eager to find more pokemon to catch, if only for fun. Then again, he'd heard you could take your pokemon to do pokemon jobs so maybe...maybe they'd do that. Make a little money, have some fun, and earn enough for dinner for a few nights. Yes, do something proactive and productive.

Tall grass slowly takes on the light of something strange, something purple. It's calm though, staying in place as Lana made his way to it. He's well aware of the danger this kind of ghost held but he's alert enough to keep form falling into its trap. It looked up at him with one, yellow eye almost a little cheeky as Lana stayed tense. They stared each other down before he perked up. "Oh right!" and then chucked a pokeball at it.

The ball shook a couple of times before slowly pinging to signify another successful capture. Lana breathed in a sight of relief. "I guess I just got lucky with my team if this is how all wild ghost types are." It wasn't like he hadn't gotten his fair share of malicious ghosts tracking him down and trying to hurt him but that was once in a blue moon. At most they were all just a little curious, and then they tended to leave after they satiated their curiosity. He continued forward, stepping into a clearing and staring as a lone Cubone. This one looked different to the baby girl he'd caught before. Still, it's cute, and it's pretty easy considering it was just sort of seeping on the ground. Before it would wake up, Lana tossed another safari ball at it.

He continued forward after his capture, smiling happily to himself. How long had it been since he'd accomplished something? Anything? Stealing enough money from unsuspecting bystanders didn't count. He felt like a real trainer for once. Lana lost himself in his thoughts as he moved forward, bumping into a pink gremlin creature. It startled him and he screeched. It did the same, crying and yelling in panic before fleeing the scene while Lana ran the opposite direction. It all happened too fast before he could process it was just another Impidimp. Shit.

Continuing forward, the weird humming?? Growling??? Moaning of something pulled his attention away from the path he was forging. A few feet away sat a pokemon that looked like it had been half dipped in chocolate. It's attention was up on the stars of the cloudless night. Lana took a moment to do the same as well, eyes on the constellations and the moon he could see far clearer this far from the city before he moved on.

He was about done cutting through the field, ending up back on a path that seemed to go around the safari. He looked around, eyes wide open for more ghosts types when he felt something crawling up his leg. The boy froze, looking down at an odd purple spider somehow stuck to his leg. It crawled calmly to the ground before turning around to look at him. The pokemon stared for a moment before waving at him as if thanking him for the ride before looking around to go do something else. "W-Wait? Are you??? supposed to be-" before he can finish his question, as he lurched forward, the last safari ball in his hand slipped out, arcing gently and popping the spider in the head. The Pokeball shook once before settling down leaving Lana confused as ever. "I...I need to look into this...that's weird right?" he mumbled to himself as he straightened up.
