She crosses her arms over her chest and stares him down. But even she can't resist the man's chuckle and grin. Seeing him brings a mix of emotions, some good, some bad, some ugly.

"You'd like that. I see you're still trying to perfect the big tough guy act. Convince anyone to call you the 'big bad wolf' yet?"

Her eyebrows raise, a challenging smirk is offered.

His response prompts something in between a scowl and an eye roll. But his frustration fades and redirects into something else. She almost laughs, if she knew it wouldn't kill the mood.

The fire blazes behind them, but his attention is wholly on her. How's that for romance?

"In general? Or is it just because I said it."

He comes closer, and she doesn't keep the distance. Remi smirks, offering wickedness in her expression as she sizes him up. She purses her lips and tilts her head to look at him.

Its a challenge.

"Did you miss me, Niko?"

His hand pinches, pulling her toward him, tilting her chin up. He is direct, precise, practiced. And he watches her carefully, with the same intensity that she is so familiar with. She smirks, and is therefore willing to be lead.

"It's good to see you, mon loup."

She flashes teeth in a grin, stepping closer still.

Guilt trickles with ice-cold fingers down the back of her neck. She remains steady, attention wavering slightly from either side of his face in quiet study.

But she can see it, the sadness, the longing.

And she'd seen it before.

"Mmm.. well you know I don't stay in one place for too long, love."

Demons followed her, offering up their wicked words and cruel intentions. She was a monster, running from the truth.

She pouts along with his complaint, lips displayed in a pout, offering a slight tilt of her head with the limited movement she's granted. Her chin remains captured in his palm, but she goes along with the bite.

"Depends on how tightly you hold on."

How much of what he had said was truth? Was she just another notch on his belt, or did he genuinely mean it when he said he'd missed her? Did he care when she left, or was this for show?

Did it even matter?

"You have right now."

Remi slides her fingers up and against his chest overtop of his shirt. His canvas is familiar, warm, strong.

Her smile broadens, lip turning up at one corner to show teeth. Niko's fingers at her cheek don't hinder it in any way despite how firmly he holds her.

"Yeah?"

She growls, voice low, as fingers move up her body. He lingers in areas in order to pull at her clothing, and with each tug she moves closer. Remi's lips part in anticipation, and she allows her own hand to roam, undoing the button on his pants and slipping deeper. She squeezes.

"Like that?"

She leans in, whispering against his cheek.

she squeezes, and he practically growls in response, shivering under her touch.

He's rough, violent, intense in his pursuit. The cuff of her jacket catches on her wrist and he pulls it off anyway. His want for her is dizzying but she keeps up, teasing him with warm breath against his neck and teeth against his earlobe.

And in the midst of their power struggle, she manages to remove clothing of his, too. It should be cold outside, but with their extravagant bonfire glowing behind them, it is impossible to be cold even without their extra layers.

Remi growls, pulled closer and held tighter. His fingers dig to find purchase and she curves her back in toward him to eliminate the distance. Her hand hooks around the back of his head, holding just as tight.

"The big.. bad.. wolf.. is here, I see."

Her chuckle is dark, her smile predatory. She removes her shirt and presses close to him, body molding to fit his own. She leaves a trail of sharp kisses against his neck to find his lips. He wants it rougher, and so she stops holding back.
