Despite that the man only really favoring dark, dragon, and fire type, Maverick couldn’t help the rise in interest in ghost type pokemon. That and, he had an incense that apparently attracted ghost pokemon. And with that, the man found himself on the worn out path of route 121 on THE HUNT. It was between safari zone and my pyre. Warm gaze shifted to his beloved hell hound, holding it so the canine can lite it. She took in a deep breath, summoning a small ember to lite the incense.

At first, nothing happened. But within minutes, a scent poured out of the items and carried through the light chill breeze. “Well…” the man sighed, his gaze flickered over the small route, “This should help being them to use.” The canine lifted her nose to the air, nostrils flared intensely to scent out the air. Although the man wasn’t sure what ghost he really wanted, he had a small hint of an idea what he wanted. But of course, it would all depend on what shows up.

The incense smoke drifted in the breeze, carrying the sweet smell throughout the route. Maverick and his beloved canine remained where they were, the man not bothering to move from the spot. It was Azula who noticed the ghost and grass type. Her lips peeled back, revealing her pearly whites at the spooky tree. A snarl ripped through her throat, ready to attack.

The Phamtump hesitated, wanted to investigate the lovely smell. Azula didn’t like it however. She launched herself forward, muscles legs with ease as her muzzle opened wide to CRUNCH down on the creature. The wild pokemon was swift, dodging the advanced and fleeing before the canine attacked again. Maverick frowned, not seeing any use for the creature anyway. Guess the waiting continues, he could only PRAY for something good soon.

Soon after Azula scared off the phantump, another wild ghost type pokemon appeared. Maverick eyes widened, spotting the cofagrigus. Panic filled him, knowing this creatures was not to mess with. “Quick Azula,” the man barked, eyeing the creature as it came closer and closer, “Scare it away.” The canine wasted not time, legs flexed to launch herself towards the ghost type pokemon. Her muzzle parted, ready to CRUNCH down on any part of the creature she could sink her teeth into.

The cofagrigus however, was ready. It vanished out of thin air before the canine could bite. A snarl ripped through her throat, frustrated she didn’t get to it. “No matter Azula,” the man hollowed while waving her to return, “This thing is almost out.” He could only imagine if the full moon was out.

The next pokemon that seemed to be drawn to the ghost incense was a creature the scared man heard was well worth the pain. A brow rose, tossing the now empty case in his bag. Although he would have preferred a shiny full evolved one, beggars can’t be choices. Is that how the saying goes? Maverick shrugged his shoulders and kicked a small pile of leaves, reacting into his pocket to pluck out an empty capsule. “Don’t let it get away,” the man mumbled to the canine, eyeing the creature as it removed its sleeve from the blade, “Set it ablaze.”

The massive six foot seven hell hound throw her head back, feeling the power boost the HOWL brought. And just as she let loose a eerie howl, the wild pokemon was too close for comfort. The trainer held his breath, partly flinching waiting for the sharp blade to slice the canine’s flesh. But instead, the canine’s muzzle burst open and sent a fiery inferno of FIRE BLAST at the wild pokemon. Unable to dodge so close, the flames engulf the creature. It screeched, falling to the ground. Tossing the ball, the man let out a sigh. Hopefully, this creature wasn’t hyped up for no reason.
